APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETECTING AND REACTING TO THE PRESENCE OF A FLUID
20210063122 · 2021-03-04 ·

A fluid detection and reaction apparatus that physically responds to fluid contact. An open-ended chamber with a hinged cover holds a compressed springy material. The cover/lid is subjected to pressure by the compressed springy material to open the chamber end. A latch is formed between the chamber cover and the rim of the chamber end to generate a holding force that keeps the cover in place. The latch is formed by a water-reactive material that is adapted to will fail or sever under stress when wet. When water contacts the water-reactive material, the material tears, allowing the cover to open the chamber and release the springy material.

WEARABLE VEST WITH VESSEL AND OPTICAL SENSOR
20210215464 · 2021-07-15 ·

A wearable vest having an optical sensor is disclosed with a vessel configured to hold a selected liquid. A nozzle is connected to the vessel. The optical sensor is configured to receive an encoded optical signal from one or more of a plurality of optical signal sources. One or more processors coupled to the optical sensor are configured to determine information in the encoded signal, select a response based on the information, and send a signal to enable the selected liquid to be directed out of the vessel through the nozzle towards a wearer of the wearable vest for a selected period of time based on the selected response.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DELIVERING WATER-RELATED SENSATIONS TO VIDEO VIEWERS
20200030705 · 2020-01-30 ·

A system and method for timely delivery of water spray and/or drops to a video viewer's face, which includes an apparatus having a water-bottle attachment for creating pressure inside tubing to valves controlled by a CPU, and drip or spray nozzles attached to a headgear portion of the system and aimed to parts of the user's face. The CPU is triggered by timing relative to a distinct initiating sound from the video being watched to open and close valves at the appropriate time to coincide with events being viewed. Typically, a mobile wireless-connectable device will pick up the sounds with its microphone, correlate those with timing and events in a specific video, and send an appropriate signal to the CPU.

A pogo stick (100) comprising a frame (102); an elongate member (104) in sprung connection with the frame, for reciprocating motion between the elongate member and the frame; a liquid container (110) arranged, in use, to contain a liquid; and firing apparatus (108) arranged to utilise the reciprocating motion between the elongate member (104) and the frame (102) to expel the liquid in the liquid container (110) from the pogo stick (100).

System, method and apparatus for toys and games for water guns

A toy may include a target having a target magnet and a first color configured to become a second color when the target is activated. The toy also may include a backing having a backing magnet configured to be mounted to an interior of a garment. The backing may be magnetically attracted to the target magnet through the garment when the target is on an exterior of the garment. The target may be configured to be retained on the garment only via magnetic force between the target magnet and the backing magnet. The target and the backing may be configured to be readily removed from the garment and have numerous re-uses for future play.

Each of the canisters is inserted into a respective one of the target spaces and each of the canisters is comprised of a rigid material. A plurality of darts is included and each of the darts is assigned to a respective player. Each of the darts is thrown towards the target board in the attempt of striking one of the canisters with the dart. Additionally, each of the canisters is pierced by the dart when the dart strikes the canister thereby releasing the pressurized fluid from the canister. In this way each of the canisters communicates a visual alert to the players that one of the canisters has been struck.
