ATTENDANT-FREE GAME MACHINE
An attendant-free midway-style electronic game machine. The game machine includes a predetermined number of projectiles for game play during a user game play session, a lower cabinet or first structural portion, a target cabinet or second structural portion having a target, and at least one detector. The lower cabinet may include a counter section and an elongated ramp section ending proximal to a user play position. The target cabinet may be located on top of the ramp section and spaced a distance from the counter section. At least one detector, which may be in the form of a sensor array, is configured to detect when an interruption occurs in the array indicating a projectile has passed by the detection area. The game machine may be configured to detect when a projectile has been actuated towards the target or has ricocheted off the target and is traveling towards the counter section. An electronic controller in electronic communication with said detector, may be configured to automatically end a game play session once a predetermined number of said game projectiles have been detected as having been actuated by a user toward said target.
Arcade crane game
An arcade-type crane game has a vacuum pick-up device for capturing a target such as a laminated card that has ticket values printed prominently on each side of the card, and moves the captured card to a reader such as a barcode reader or RFID reader to read the card's information, e.g., value. The game then returns the card directly to the playing field, and a ticket dispensing machine delivers the proper number of tickets to the player. The use of cards reduces the space needed to display the targets, and the return of the cards to the playing field means that the proprietor rarely if ever needs to access the targets or the playing field. By placing the card reader inside the playing area, the entire process after capture can be completed in a matter of seconds, from capture to transport to reading to returning and ticket dispensing. The bar code is preferably printed on both sides of the card, so that vacuum pick-up device can acquire the card on the top surface and present the bottom surface of the card to the reader for examination.
Ticket outputting game machine
Disclosed is a ticket outputting game machine. The ticket outputting game machine includes a body having guide rails formed on a top surface thereof, a hitting portion formed on a front end of the guide rails, and a handle controlling a hitting force of the hitting portion on a front surface thereof, ticket display devices installed in a zigzag structure on both sides of the guide rails, and a ball position determination portion determining a held position of a ball between the guide rails to hit the ball by the hitting portion such that the ball moves along the guide rails and is held at a position determined by the ball position determination portion and the number of tickets displayed on the ticket display device corresponding to the position of holding the ball are output.
PINBALL MACHINE AND REDEMPTION SYSTEM
In one embodiment there is provided an arcade machine having a plurality of different achievable objects, a plurality of different reward cards, each reward card associated with one of the achievable objects and capable of being dispensed by a card dispenser in response to the achieving of its associated achievable object, and wherein at least one reward card is dispensed by the card dispenser during or after game play upon at least one of the achievable objects being achieved, and wherein a different reward card is dispensed depending on the achievable object that is achieved. In one embodiment, a networked redemption system is associated with the game and the game further enables connectivity with social media and/or other publishing avenues for communicating information about the player and/or game play.
