Distally shared, augmented reality space
In a method facilitating connectivity between at least first and second persons contemplates utilizing one or more computer processors to instantiate a first augmented reality space that mimics a real world space physically in existence about a first person. The first augmented reality space includes at least an avatar of the first person, and a first virtual representation of at least one real world object within the first augmented reality space. Using one or more computer processors, the method provides an interface through which the second person, distal to the first person, can use a second avatar to contemporaneously occupy and enter the first augmented reality space, traverse the space, and interact with the object.
TECHNOLOGIES FOR PROVIDING A COGNITIVE CAPACITY TEST FOR AUTONOMOUS DRIVING
Technologies for providing a cognitive capacity test for autonomous driving include a compute device. The compute device includes circuitry that is configured to display content to a user, prompt a message to the user to turn user’s attention to another activity that needs situational awareness, receive a user response, and analyze the user response to determine an accuracy of the user response and a response time, wherein the accuracy and response time are indicative of a cognitive capacity of the user to assume control of an autonomous vehicle when the autonomous vehicle encounters a situation that the vehicle is unable to navigate.
Electronic apparatus and control method thereof
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display, a communicator, and a processor configured to recognize a context in a game which is running in the electronic device, receive an advertisement content from an external server through the communicator, modify the received advertisement content based on the context, and control the display to display a game screen in which the modified advertisement content is inserted.
Board game with dynamic characteristic tracking
A board game comprises one or more game objects such as a game board and game pieces, at least one memory device and at least one controller. Each of the game objects comprise a globally unique identifier and dynamic characteristic values associated with the unique identifier, stored in the memory device, that define the characteristics/attributes of the corresponding game object when used in the game. A user is able to play the game by utilizing the game objects according to their characteristic values. During the course of game play, the events of the game are able to dynamically change the characteristic values of each game object affected by the event. Similarly, outside of game play, external events are also able to dynamically change the characteristic values of a game object. These characteristic values are able to be kept and updated during and in between games.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT PICTURE, DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
This application discloses a method for displaying a virtual environment picture performed by a computer device. The method includes: displaying a first virtual environment picture obtained by observing a virtual environment by using a first observation position; displaying, in response to receiving a first directional instruction generated by a first directional operation, a directional skill indicator pointing to a first direction; and in accordance with a determination that a length of the directional skill indicator is greater than a distance threshold in the first virtual environment picture, displaying a second virtual environment picture obtained by observing the virtual environment by using a second observation position, the second virtual environment picture including the directional skill indicator, and the second observation position being in the first direction of the first observation position or in a surrounding region in the first direction.
Electronic device with a transformable multi-planar segmented display
An electronic device with a transformable multi-planar display includes a central body and peripheral elements. Each peripheral element has outward-facing sides and inward-facing sides. Each outward-facing side comprises a microprocessor-controllable electronic display screen. Each inward-facing side includes a contact group of electrical contacts arranged to engage with another contact group of electrical contacts of another other one of the peripheral elements. Each contact group includes a plurality of permanent magnets, a plurality of sockets recessed in a corresponding inward-facing side, each socket defining a cavity that houses a corresponding permanent magnet and has an aperture through which at least a portion of the housed permanent magnet is permitted to protrude. A retention spring is situated within each socket and coupled to the housed permanent magnet. The retention spring exerts a biasing force to retain the permanent magnet in a recessed position when there is no engagement with another contact group.

Shape sorting activity device
An activity device is provided that comprises a sorting substrate including multiple cavities, multiple toy blocks shaped and sized for insertion into respective ones of the cavities, and detection circuitry. The detection circuitry includes multiple sensors disposed on the sidewall of each toy block, including a first sensor disposed adjacent to the distal end of the toy block and a second sensor disposed proximally relative to the first sensor. The detection circuitry also includes at least one activator disposed on a side wall of each cavity and configured to (i) activate the first sensor of the corresponding toy block as the toy block is being inserted into the cavity to produce a first stimulus from the toy block and (ii) activate the second sensor of the corresponding toy block when the toy block is seated within the cavity to produce a second stimulus from the toy block.

Game picture display method and apparatus and computer-readable storage medium
The present application discloses a game picture display method and apparatus and a computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: displaying a picture in a target game in a client of the target game in a first display mode in response to that the client runs the target game, the client being installed on a mobile device; acquiring first state information of the mobile device; and switching a display mode of the client from the first display mode to a second display mode in a case that the first state information does not match the first display mode, and continuing to display the picture in the target game in the client in the second display mode, the target game in the client being kept in a running state in a process of switching the display mode. The present application solves the technical problem that a game cannot run smoothly in the related art.
