FOCUS CONTROL FOR VIRTUAL OBJECTS IN AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) AND VIRTUAL REALITY (VR) DISPLAYS
Embodiments described herein include an optical system, and associated method and computer program product. The optical system comprises one or more display devices, and one or more computer processors configured to transmit display signals comprising at least one virtual object for updating imagery displayed by the display devices, and to selectively defocus a focus of the virtual object.
INFORMATION DISPLAY METHOD AND APPARATUS IN VIRTUAL SCENE, DEVICE, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An information display method in a virtual scene is provided. In the method, the virtual scene that includes a first virtual object is displayed. The first virtual object is controlled to move in the virtual scene based on a user input. Further, in response to the first virtual object moving into a target region in the virtual scene and obtaining control authority of the target region, a graphical representation of each of at least one second virtual object in the virtual scene is displayed based on a perspective of the first virtual object in the virtual scene. When a view of the respective second virtual object from a location of the first virtual object is obstructed, the graphical representation of an obstructed portion of the respective second virtual object is displayed in the virtual scene based on the perspective of the first virtual object and a position of the respective second virtual object in the virtual scene.
Method and system for automated camera collision and composition preservation
There is described herein systems and methods for camera colliders and shot composition preservation within a 3D virtual environment that prevent a virtual procedural camera from getting stuck behind an object, or penetrating into an object, when filming a subject, while at the same time also maintaining the screen composition of the subject in the camera shot.
MARK PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS, COMPUTER DEVICE, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND PROGRAM PRODUCT
This application provides a mark processing method performed by a computer device. The method includes: displaying a display picture of a virtual environment; displaying an aiming prompt mark on the display picture of the virtual environment, the aiming prompt mark being used for indicating a target aimed position at which a target virtual object in the virtual environment aims; displaying a position prompt mark on the display picture of the virtual environment according to a first transparency, the position prompt mark being used for indicating a target environment position in the virtual environment; and adjusting the transparency of the position prompt mark in response to a change in relative positions between the aiming prompt mark and the position prompt mark.
GAME PROGRAM, GAME METHOD, AND INFORMATION TERMINAL DEVICE
A first image related to a progress of a game is displayed on a display unit, an UI (User Interface) image receiving a first input operation related to a result of the game is displayed on the display unit in a manner of being superimposed on the first image, and the UI image is deleted by receiving a second input operation from the user even when the first input operation is not yet received.
GHOST COMPARISON MODE
A method and system for providing visual comparisons to previous gameplay is disclosed. A plurality of datasets, with each dataset associated with displaying at least a part of gameplay from a past gameplay session of an interactive content title and a set of synch points within the past gameplay session is stored. An input over a communication network from a client device of a player associated with a current gameplay session is received. The received input indicates one of the stored datasets associated with the interactive content title. An overlay for a display of the current gameplay session is generated. The overlay includes a ghost projection based on the indicated dataset. The ghost projection is superimposed over the display of a virtual environment of the current gameplay session based on the set of synch points.
User interface display method and apparatus, device and computer-readable storage medium
The disclosure discloses a user interface display method and apparatus, a device, and a storage medium. The method includes: displaying a user interface; receiving a display instruction from a server, the display instruction including data of a first-class object and data of a second-class object, the first-class object being a virtual object having obtained a larger quantity of virtual resources than a target virtual object, the second-class object being a virtual object having obtained a same or smaller quantity of virtual resources than the target virtual object; and displaying first visible information corresponding to the first-class object in the user interface, or displaying first visible information and second visible information corresponding to the second-class object in the user interface.
Head mounted displays (HMDs) with front facing cameras for transitioning between non-transparent modes and transparent modes
Systems and methods for executing content to be rendered on a screen of a head mounted display (HMD) are provided. One method includes executing the content to render interactive scenes on the screen and tracking an orientation direction of the HMD when worn on a head of a user and the interactive scenes are being rendered on the screen. The method includes changing view directions into the interactive scenes based on changes in the orientation direction of the HMD, such that movements of the head of the user causes the changes in the view directions into the interactive scenes. The method further includes receiving images of a real world space using a camera of the HMD. The camera of the HMD is configured to capture a location of real world objects in the real world space relative to the user of the HMD. The method includes detecting that at least one real world object is becoming proximate to the user of the HMD and generating a warning or message to be presented to the HMD, the warning or message indicating that the user is likely to bump or contact the at least one real world object. The method further includes transitioning at least a portion of the screen to a transparent mode. The transparent mode provides at least a partial view into the real world space using the camera of the HMD.
Processing device, program, and method
A processing device includes an input interface that accepts an operation input relating to an effect object from a player in a real world, the effect object being disposed in a virtual space displayed on a display, a memory that stores a parameter associated with one or a plurality of virtual objects, and a processor that executes an instruction command stored in the memory to vary a form of the effect object according to the operation input accepted by the input interface and to vary the parameter associated with at least the one or the plurality of virtual objects according to the form variation of the effect object.
Techniques for virtual reality boundaries and related systems and methods
Described herein are techniques for providing an in-game virtual boundary. First data is received that is indicative of a user position while the user is playing a video game. It is determined whether the user position is within a warning zone, wherein the warning zone comprises an area between a soft boundary indicative of a safe area for the user and a safe boundary indicative of one or more real-world objects around the user. Based on a relationship between the user position and the safe boundary, a visual indication of a plurality of visual indications of the in-game virtual boundary is determined to provide to the user. Second data indicative of the visual indication is transmitted to a display being viewed by the user while playing the video game.
