Card shuffling device with RFID card reader and display
A card shuffling machine for a game of chance includes a base portion and a rotatable body in communication with the base portion. The rotatable body portion includes a plurality of slots disposed therein. Each of the plurality of slots is configured to receive a card of the defined set of cards. Each of the cards includes indicia relevant to an outcome of the game of chance. The shuffling machine includes at least one reader associated with one of the plurality of slots and configured to communicate with the card disposed in the one slot to obtain information about the indicia of the card. The card shuffling machine includes a display in communication with the at least one reader for displaying the indicia of the card when the card is in the slot.
ROULETTE SYSTEM WITH SIDE BETS BASED ON DIFFERENT BALLS
A wagering system including a roulette wheel, multiple balls of a first or second color, a selector for selecting a ball, and a processor that causes the system to randomly select a ball for use in the game which is determined when the selected roulette ball stops at a numbered wheel position, selects one or more side bet numbers when a side bet is placed by a player, and resolves side bet wagers as follows: side bet wagers are forfeit when a first colored ball is selected or paid at lower odds; side bet wager may be forfeit when either ball is selected and the number position on the roulette wheel does not match the side bet number; and side bet wagers are resolved at higher odds when the second colored ball is the selected roulette ball and the number position on the roulette wheel matches the side bet number.
MULTI-GAME MACHINE DISPLAY DEVICE
Disclosed is a display device for a multi-game machine. A display device for a multi-game machine configured such that three or more game machines are connected by a network to play each game performs a control operation to display any one or more of a winning probability, a betting score, and a winning score on a display unit as a result of a game, and the display unit is configured to display any one or more of an immediately previous game display window for displaying a winning probability of an immediately previous game or one or more group display windows for displaying winning probabilities of two or more consecutive games including the immediately previous game, thereby having the effect of satisfying an expected demand of a player for a high winning probability and various winning probabilities, and sufficient expectation of various strategies and tactical interventions of the player and winning.
Ball launcher and a ball gaming system including such ball launcher
The present invention generally relates to a ball gaming system such as a roulette wheel apparatus, and in particular to a ball launcher for use in a gaming system such as a roulette wheel apparatus and to a gaming system such as a roulette wheel apparatus comprising the ball launcher, wherein the ball launcher includes a ball shuttle for transporting a ball from at least one ball-receiving station to at least one launch tube. According to the present invention, said ball shuttle is configured to move to a reject-ball station in response to a reject-ball signal to transport any old and/or defective ball to said reject-ball station instead of said at least one launch tube.
A BALL LAUNCHER AND A BALL GAMING SYSTEM INCLUDING SUCH BALL LAUNCHER
MULTI-BALL-TRACK ROULETTE
A multi-ball roulette mechanism having an annular stationary rim with an upwardly curved face around which two or more roulette balls travel. A rotating roulette wheel is positioned in a central opening of the stationary rim, both of which are supported by a base. The two or more roulette balls travel from the curved face into pockets of the roulette wheel. A roulette ball launching system launches the two or more roulette balls spinning around the stationary rim in a direction opposite the roulette wheel. The curved face of the stationary rim includes a path around which the roulette balls travel. The path may include two or more separate tracks or a continual spiral. A first roulette ball is launched by the roulette ball launching system onto the path to rotate around the stationary rim while moving down the curved face toward the roulette wheel as the first roulette ball loses momentum. The second roulette ball is not launched by the roulette ball launching system onto the path until the first roulette ball has moved a sufficient distance down the curved face of the stationary rim.
MULTI-BALL POCKETS FOR ROULETTE
A roulette mechanism having a base, a stationary rim mounted on the base having a central opening and a curved face around which roulette balls travel, a rotating roulette wheel configured to spin and positioned in the central opening of the and supported by the base. The roulette wheel includes a movable central cone and pockets distributed around the movable central cone, the pockets hold one or more roulette balls that fall from the rim into pockets. Each pocket corresponds to unique identifiers on the roulette wheel. The cone includes an edge, a number of sub-pockets under the edge and a motor. The edge is configured to stop a roulette ball that has entered a pocket. The motor is configured to raise the edge so that the roulette ball moves from the pocket to the sub-pocket and to lower the edge once the roulette ball is in the sub-pocket.
METHODS FOR USING A MULTI-BALL POCKET ROULETTE SYSTEM
A method for using a roulette mechanism where a ball is launched onto a rim having a central opening and a face around which balls travel until falling pockets distributed around a central cone. The pockets are configured hold the balls. The pockets correspond to unique identifiers on the roulette wheel. The cone includes an edge, sub-pockets under the edge and a motor. The edge stops a ball in a pocket. The motor raises and lowers the edge so that ball move from a pocket to the sub-pocket. When a ball falls into a pocket the ball is moved to a sub-pocket. The outcome for the ball is indicated based on the pocket and then more balls are launched while the ball is in the sub-pocket.
WHEEL GAME APPARATUS AND WAGERING GAME METHODS
A roulette game apparatus for modifying a roulette wheel having a base with a central axial shaft and an inner roulette game ring mounted for rotational motion about the central axial shaft, the inner roulette game ring having an upper side, a lower side and a radially outer edge, the upper side of the inner roulette game ring including a plurality of circumferentially spaced roulette game pockets adjacent to the radially outer edge thereof, the roulette game apparatus comprising: a central cone mounted for rotational motion about the central axial shaft independently of the inner roulette game ring, the central cone including a marker thereon, the marker being disposed on the upper side of the central cone at a radially inner position relative to the radially outer edge of the central cone; and a plurality of raised portions protruding from the upper side of the central cone at a radially inner position relative to the radially outer edge of the central cone, wherein the marker on the upper side of the central cone is positioned in radial alignment with a single roulette pocket of the plurality of circumferentially spaced roulette game pockets on the inner roulette game ring responsive to the central cone coming to a rest subsequent to the central cone rotating about the central axial shaft.
