METHODS FOR CONTROLLING MOVEMENT OF A DICE
Methods are described for controlling movement of dice in a gaming system. The gaming system includes an input device controllable by a user and a platform for holding the dice. The platform may be moved up and down by a drive to cause the dice to be moved upward and thrown above the surface of the platform. Data received from the input device may be used to determine the upward motion of the platform. The data may include the distance a user is from the input device. The data may also include how hard, how far and/or how fast a user pushes the input device. Data received from the input device may not be used to determine the upward motion of the platform. The time at which the platform may be moved may be randomly determined.
System and method for regulating dice strokes in gaming system
Methods, systems, and devices are described herein for controlling movement of a platform for rolling at least one dice in a gaming system. In one aspect, a method for controlling movement of a platform for rolling at least one dice in a gaming system is described. In one aspect, a method for controlling movement of a dice includes causing a platform holding at least one dice to move upward with a first force. The method may further include causing the platform to move downward a first distance or over a first period of time. The method may additionally include causing the platform to move upward with a second force, with a height that the dice moves upward being configured by selecting at least one of the first force, the first distance, the first period of time, or the second force.
Methods for selecting dice for a gaming system
Methods, systems, and devices are described herein for providing a selection of dice to use in a dice gaming system. In one aspect, a method for providing a selection of dice may include providing X selection items corresponding to Y separate dice systems, where each of the Y separate dice systems are configured to throw at least one dice in an enclosed space. The method may further include receiving a selection of the X selection items corresponding to the Y separate dice systems. The method may additionally include visually indicating the selection of the X selection items.
Folding dice tower
Dice towers that are configured to fold into a flattened state during non-use are disclosed. The dice towers include a top end having a first opening that is configured to receive dice; a body section that includes an internal area that is contiguous with the first opening of the top end; and a bottom end having a second opening that is contiguous with the internal area and is configured to expel dice that have been dropped into the first opening. The dice tower is configured to fold into a flattened state during non-use, along a series of hinges that run vertically along the body section of the dice tower.
THREE DICE GAME
A method for a three dice game of chance. A game surface is provided having discrete sections, each section including a plurality of numbers, e.g., four numbers from 3 to 18 obtained by the sum of a roll of three dice. The numbers have various payout odds, each section also having payout odds. A wager placed on a number in a particular section is paid off in accordance with the payout odds associated with that number. If the rolled sum does not correspond to that number but does correspond to another number in that section, wager is paid off in accordance with the payout odds of that section. In a particular embodiment, increased odds are given for rolling a hard way number wherein all three dice have the same number.
Oscillation and magnetic braking assembly for dice gaming system
Methods, systems, and devices are described herein for controlling movement of a platform in a dice gaming system. In one aspect, a dice system may include a platform and at least one member extending from the platform. The at least one member may include at least one magnet. The system may also include a first magnetic movement limiter positioned in a first direction from the at least one magnet and a second magnetic movement limiter positioned in a second direction opposite to the first direction from the at least one magnet. The first magnetic movement limiter and the second magnetic movement limiter may limit movement of the member in the first and second directions.
Dice Recognition Device and Method of Recognizing Dice
The present invention relates to a device for assisting in electronic gaming, the device comprising a scanning device. The scanning device comprises a scanning surface, wherein the scanning surface is arranged for throwing a die or dice thereon, the flatbed scanning device being configured for scanning instantaneously an image of the scanning surface. The device also comprises a processor configured for receiving scanning information regarding the image of the scanning surface upon which a die or dice are thrown and programmed for deriving, based on said image, data regarding the dice thrown. The scanning device comprises a detection system whereby the detection area span by the detection elements is maximally 10% smaller than the area span by the scanning surface.
Simplified craps game with a color coded and or related coded system of wagering, utilizing a pay grid multiplayer payout and bonus bets
A portable craps game incorporating a color-coding or other indicia system of wagering, which includes a game mat, the game mat incorporating various sections, for participatory play, including a pay grid, a roll area, placed bets area, a pass bets area, and a location for field bets during game play. The game is played with 1-6 players, and a dealer, and each player commits to selection of one of the colors or indicia in front of them, which committed to color remains with the player during participation in the said game. The player also selects the coloration in the pay grid area, so that the odds can increase, during participation in the game, so long as the player participates and is successful in their selection of the placed bets area. The throw of the dice by the various participants generally progresses clockwise around the game mat, during participation in this portable craps game. The game mat may be a pair of back-to-back tables, with a divider provided therebetween, and the pay grid area may be electronically displayed upon the divider.
