INTERACTIVE ARABIC ALPHABET BLOCKS

The interactive Arabic alphabet blocks is a set of blocks for teaching children Arabic letters. Each block interacts with a touch screen to teach the symbol of a letter and its pronunciation. Each interactive Arabic alphabet block includes a front face having an Arabic letter painted and/or engraved thereon. The bottom face of the blocks includes a plurality of raised nubs thereon. The nubs and all faces of the blocks are covered with a conductive mesh or paint. The nubs represent the start and stop locations of each stroke of forming the Arabic letter. When the block is placed on a touch screen of a mobile electronic device, an application on the device detects the nubs and identifies the Arabic letter associated with the location of the nubs. The Arabic letter identified is displayed on the device's screen and played by the device's speaker or headphones.

Disclosed is a set of a plurality dice useful for playing a spelling game among multiple players and an exemplary method of playing the game. The plurality of dice is assembleable to form a dice block attractive for packaging. Typically, all of the dice are cube shaped and of the same dimensions. Each die of the set has each of its faces labeled with a character set consisting of one or more letters of the alphabet. The manner of play can be varied by altering the total number of individual dice in the dice set used for play, for example from 125 dice to 100 dice, by adding or removing dice specifically color-coded for that purpose. Thus the manner of play can be adjusted to alter the difficulty of play or the total time of play.

Shape-Matrix Geometric Instrument

Shape-matrix geometric instruments having numerous applications including, but not limited to, anti-counterfeiting, graphical passwording, games, and geometry education. A shape-matrix geometric instrument is a manufacture and/or a method whose design is based on a shape-matrix that, in turn comprises a set of building blocks that are N-dimensional polytopes. Corner shapes are positioned in or near the interior corner spaces of at least ones of the shape-matrix building blocks. At least ones of the corner shapes differ from others in at least one property or aspect including, for example, geometric shape, orientation within the building block, and one or more surface finishes, such as color, shading, cross-hatching or real or apparent texture.

INTERACTIVE LEARNING BLOCKS

Interactive blocks with sensors for collecting information about how tactile objects are interacted with and with one or more communication interface for sending the interaction data to one or more other device or platform for analyzing the interactivity, providing feedback to a user, and assessing manual ability and dexterousness, cognitive ability, memory and retention, providing challenges based on past performance, learning curve, etc.

Puzzle cuboid

A cubic puzzle assembled from a number of separable component pieces is disclosed. Each of the component pieces can be made of one, two or more cubes linearly arranged. Component patterns are provided on at least some of the six sides of a component piece so that when all component pieces are assembled into a single bigger cube, the component patterns on the sides of the component pieces form at least one combined pattern, but preferably, five or six different combined patterns on five or six faces of the bigger cube. In some embodiments, there are two or more correct combinations for a player to assemble the component pieces into the puzzle. The combined patterns preferably are easily recognizable, such as photographs, images of animals, likeness of a subject or landscape and the like.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN BLOCKS

A children's educational building block set that allows children to incorporate material selection, landscaping, and environment considerations into the design of an architectural feature. With the blocks of the present invention, children learn to see buildings as part of the environment and the land, and not separate from them. The set includes a plurality of building blocks formed as a geometric solid carrying indicia of a design element on a face of each block. A set of architectural material blocks permits the forming of an architectural structure, including a roofing, a siding, and a fenestration element. Foreground and landscape blocks carry indicia for a landscape or foreground to frame a base of the structure. Environmental blocks may surround a periphery of the structure.

PUZZLE SET AND METHOD THEREFOR

A puzzle set comprises a plurality of cubes, each configured with a drawing at one or more of its facets; and an interface configured to cause the cubes to be positioned one adjacent to the other while permitting a change in disposition and rotational state of any of the cubes. The drawings are designed to allow continuation of one another, by which viewable contiguous facets define together a composite symbol, upon positioning the cubes in accordance with a predetermined arrangement. At least one of the facets is rotatable in relation to other facets when the cubes are positioned one adjacent to the other, allowing rotation of its drawing without separating the cubes. In a method for generating a viewable object, a facet is displaced and rotated until the drawing on each of the viewable contiguous facets are in continuation of one another to define together the viewable object.

SYSTEM AND METHOD DETERMINING SPATIAL RELATIONSHIPS OF PHYSICAL OBJECTS
20180293414 · 2018-10-11 ·

The present invention provides a system and accompanying method determining the spatial relationships of physical objects, including multiple physical objects, a reader antenna and a processor. Each physical object has a first surface, a second surface parallel to the first surface, one or more RFID tags, and one or more relay antennas. A first RFID tag is placed on the interior surface of the first surface, a second RFID tag is placed on the interior surface of the second surface, and a first relay antenna is located between the first surface and the second surface. The processor is configured to direct the reader antenna to detect the RFID tags. Once the first physical object is placed above the reader antenna, with the first surface of the first physical object facing the reader antenna, the reader antenna is configured to detect the first RFID tag of the first physical object. And once the second physical object is placed above the first physical object, with the first surface of the second physical object facing the second surface of the first physical object, the reader antenna is configured to further detect the second RFID tag of the first physical object and the first RFID tag of the second physical object.
