Rotatable play device
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a rotatable play device that comprises a central support post, a hub rotatably mounted to an upper end of the central support post, and an arm assembly attached to the hub and comprising a plurality of arms, a seat being suspended from the distal end of each of the plurality of arms. Rotation of the hub about the central support post causes the plurality of seats to rotate around the central support post in a substantially circular rotation path. Each of the seats may also be configured to move up and down by way of a spring assembly or a plurality of springs. Two or more seats may share the up-and-down movement in an alternating manner or each seat may be configured to have an independent up-and-down movement. In addition, each of the seats may optionally be configured to swing in substantial alignment with the circular rotation path and/or to swing outward due to centripetal forces created by the circular rotation path.

Pivot coaster systems, apparatuses, and methods
An apparatus for providing lateral movement on a roller coaster includes a main chassis, a passenger chassis, and a hub. The main chassis is configured to ride on a track. The passenger chassis is rotatably supported on the main chassis via the hub. The hub and main chassis are behind the passenger chassis. The hub allows the passenger chassis to perform a full lateral rotation relative to the main chassis.

TOWING VEHICLE
A system for transporting passengers has a drive unit and a vehicle that is pulled by the drive unit. The drive unit includes a stationary guiding device like a rail which is arranged laterally at a distance and above at a height relative to the vehicle. The drive unit also includes a bogie which is movably attached to the guiding device. A connection unit couples the bogie to the vehicle by a joint, so that drifting of the vehicle is possible.
Swing ride attraction with control means for controlling the swing
The invention relates to an attraction (1) for amusement rides, such as a fairground attraction or an amusement park attraction, comprising a mast (10), a base frame (13), which is rotatably attached to the mast and which extends radially from the mast, means for rotating the base frame, a plurality of subframes (20), each comprising a stiff connecting arm to which a gondola with one or more passenger seats is attached. The subframes (20) are circumferentially distributed, each pivotably suspended by means of the connecting arm on the base frame (13), such that the subframes with gondolas swing upon rotation of the base frame under the influence of the centrifugal force. The attraction is further provided with control means for controlling the swing of the subframes with gondolas relative to the base frame, which control means are arranged to move the center of gravity of the subframe (20) relative to the base frame (13).
