SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING ELECTROSTATIC BUILDUP FOR AN ATTRACTION SYSTEM
An attraction system of an amusement park includes a sensor configured to monitor electrostatic buildup associated with the attraction system and a control system communicatively coupled to the sensor. The control system is configured to receive data from the sensor, the data being indicative of an amount of the electrostatic buildup associated with the attraction system, and operate the attraction system based on the data indicative of the amount of the electrostatic buildup associated with the attraction system.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REALIZING REAL-TIME SPATIAL STRUCTURE
A method for realizing a real-time spatial structure in an apparatus for realizing a real-time spatial structure is provided. The method for realizing a real-time spatial structure includes: tracking a movement path of a player; and realizing a spatial structure in the space on the movement path of the player using at least one of water sprayed through water spray modules of a mesh structure installed on a ceiling and electromagnet ropes of the mesh structure.
Systems and methods for incorporating pneumatic robotic systems into structures
A system may include a virtual reality system configured to present one or more virtual objects via an electronic display. The system may also include one or more inflatable objects that correspond to the one or more virtual objects, such that the one or more inflatable objects matches one or more shapes of the one or more virtual objects. The system may also include a processor configured to cause at least one of the one or more inflatable objects to inflate based on feedback from the virtual reality system.
Water slide
A swimming pool slide comprising a pool slide shell and a slide flume formed in the shell to direct downhill sliding motion of a human rider. An interior water conduit transports water from a water source, through the slide shell to a top end of the flume. A slide shell base may be configured to allow for re-positioning of the slide to a proper/desired position relative to a pool edge after having connected the interior water conduit to a water source fixture in a pool deck. The slide may include a water stream shaper comprising a manifold that receives water from the conduit and re-shapes it into a sheet and redirects it onto the slide flume.
Method and apparatus for fastening of inflatable ride surfaces
A system, apparatus, and method for constructing or providing a ride surface for an amusement attraction, such as an inflatable surfing attraction. The ride surface may be formed via the connection of a plurality of ride surface portions or segments. A mechanism may be incorporated to smooth the ride surface and define a more continuous ride surface between the plurality of ride surface portions or segments.
AMUSEMENT RIDE, IN PARTICULAR WATER AMUSEMENT RIDE, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SUCH AN AMUSEMENT RIDE
The present invention relates to an amusement ride (1), in particular a water amusement ride, having at least one rail guide (10) with at least one vehicle (20), preferably at least two vehicles, which accommodate/s at least one passenger and which can travel, guided on the rail guide (10), a route (11) in a direction of travel, wherein the at least one vehicle (20) or one of the at least two vehicles (20) can be moved by an active drive (50, 60) counter to the direction of travel, at least in sections. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for operating such an amusement ride (1).
PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE URBAN BEACH ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX WITH A CENTERPIECE MAN-MADE TROPICAL-STYLE LAGOON AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF LIMITED USE LAND
A publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex is disclosed, with a man-made tropical, pristine-clear lagoon as the centerpiece of the complex, with surrounding entertainment, educational, sports, and commercial facilities, the complex having controlled public access and providing the look and feel of a tropical beach with clear waters and sandy beaches. In addition a method for efficiently utilizing facilities and land that are vacant, underutilized, have limited uses, or that are contiguous to or nearby recreational, educational, sports, or commercial venues is disclosed. The method providing a publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex with a centerpiece man-made tropical-style pristine-clear lagoon. The method allows for generating revenue and increasing efficiency by pairing vacant sites, underutilized sites, limited use land, or sites that are contiguous to entertainment, educational, sports, and/or commercial venues with urban beach entertainment complexes. The complex preferably has a controlled public access, thereby allowing entrance upon payment of a fee.
PARK RIDE WITH DROP SWING PROPULSION
A park ride for use in theme parks, amusement parks, and other settings. The new ride includes a track defining a ride path for a passenger vehicle (or multiple vehicles that may be linked in a train). The vehicle is configured, such as with a bogie assembly with two to four or more wheels, to roll upon and engage the track. The ride includes a drop swing propulsion system that is adapted to drop a section of track upon which the passenger vehicle is supported from a first elevation to a second elevation that is lower than the first elevation. The dropping motion involves swinging the track with a linkage assembly, which with other components of the system may form a four-bar linkage, so as to impart a propelling force on the vehicle to move it along an exit track section provided at the second, lower elevation.
Inflatable surfing apparatus
A water attraction having one or more inflatable areas and/or features for reducing turbulence of water flow over a ride surface is disclosed. The water attraction includes a ride surface, a water delivery section, and a recovery section. The water delivery section provides water flow on the ride surface. The ride surface may include the assembly of multiple segments and may be fully or partially inflatable. The water delivery section may include one or more water delivery mechanisms, for example, nozzles. A water delivery mechanism may deliver a water flow different from the water flows from other water delivery mechanisms.
Tamper-resistant water distribution system and devices for waterpark
A system for waterparks or other uses wherein the system combines an electric pump system that can draw water from a lake, a pool or the sea, and pump it through a hose system and sprinklers that can wet objects on or in the water such as a waterpark. It can be connected to floating platforms or other structures that can elevate the sprinklers off the water. The system features an inflatable platform that has an inflatable tower that allows a hose to extend from underwater, through the center of the tower, to a spray nozzle atop the tower that sprays water in any direction. The system can also be attached to any other waterpark structure with various fittings. This will allow a slow drip of water on some items so as to keep them slippery and wet.
