Environmentally Friendly Lightweight Knockdown Building Block Set
An environmentally friendly knockdown building block set includes a cardboard shipping box; a plurality of main cardboard blanks each configured to form a base block including four connecting slots therein as wide as the base block thickness; a plurality of coupling cardboard blanks each configured to form an H-block including two connecting slots therein with each slot located between two legs of the H-block and as wide as the H-block thickness; wherein the connecting slots of each base black and each H-block allow for receipt and interconnection of the base block or H-block with an associated base block or H-block forming a notched connection for the base blocks and H-blocks; wherein at least the main blocks include an inking pattern using plant based environmentally friendly inks; and wherein the shipping box is an integral component configured to be integrated into structures formed by the set.
MODELMAKING SYSTEM FOR DESIGNING BUILDINGS
A parts library apparatus of predesigned freestanding three dimensional box like forms representing modest room sized units, each complete with a floor, walls and a roof of a particular shape and pitch and further categorised as either room units with full height walls and lower pitched roofs, or loft units with higher pitched roofs and some short wall or no wall sides, together with three types of unit assembly defined as non-core, core, or a combination of both, so that by selecting a kit of parts containing at least one type of unit from the parts library, a user can assemble them in accordance with at least one of the three types of unit assembly to form at least one model building and building design which can be easily reconfigured to produce many alternative design options.
Door hinge
A door hinge assembly includes: a door frame defining a frame opening and a jamb at one side of the frame opening, the jamb including two frame corners protruding into the frame opening and a jamb brace connecting the two frame corners across the frame opening, the jamb brace defining two spaced-apart hinge holes therethrough; a door movable to selectively provide access through the frame opening, and an elastic cord connecting the door to the door frame, the cord extending sequentially through a first of the two hinge passages, through a first of two passage openings at the jamb edge, through a first of the two hinge holes, across the jamb brace, through a second of the two hinge holes, through a second of the two passage openings at the jamb edge, and through the second of the two hinge passages.
MODULAR AND CUSTOMIZABLE TOY SYSTEMS COMPRISING BUILDING BLOCKS, REMOVABLE NON-ADHESIVE GRAPHICS, AND BUILT-IN INSTRUCTIONS
Customizable adhesive building blocks are not restrained in construction, offering near infinite permutations for structures resulting therefrom. Distinct indicia, color, and/or shape can be used to inspire children to construct according to their imagination. Alternatively, instructions can lead children to construct predetermined structures or hint at how to solve puzzle(s) with a limited number of solution(s).
CONSTRUCTION KIT AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
A construction kit enables building of complex structures. The kit can include pole connectors, along with a series of hubs. For instance, two-point hubs, four-point hubs, eight-point hubs, five-point hubs, six-point hubs, and a clip can be the constituent parts of the kit. Some of the hubs can be flexible to provide further utility and additional angles for building. Complex structures, such as a ball-shaped connector can also be achieved from the base components.
BUILDING TOY
A building toy and a method of building with it. The toy is designed to be constructed of a rigid and generally non-deformable material such as, but not limited to, wood and particularly hardwood, and is constructed in the fashion of a log-style building toy. The toy utilizes interconnecting notches in its construction, but provides for a variety of specialized pieces which allow for interconnection of parts where there is one notch but not another, as well as the ability to build roofs, floors, and specialty structures such as fireplaces through the use of specialized components. Further, the use of more strongly connecting components allows for stronger structures to be built.
CHILD PLAY STRUCTURE
A child play structure comprising: a main plate having a max length greater than 58 cm or 80 cm and a max height greater than 58 cm or 80 cm and being arranged at an angle of less than 20 degrees to the vertical, a first side plate having a max length greater than 50 cm and a max height greater than 40 cm and being arranged at an angle of less than 20 degrees to the vertical, wherein said first side plate is fastened to the main plate in such a way that: the first side plate forms a fixed angle to the main plate of between 60 and 90 degrees and at least 30% of the max length of the first side plate extends past each side of the main plate. In this way a play structure is provided which has a very high play value and a very high stability with a low use of materials.
GIGACUBES BLOCK SYSTEM
The Invention is a series of blocks and block areas with interfaces and dimensions that enable them to be assembled into a wide range of useful 3D objects. The blocks, poles, spheres, and their interfaces can build a wide range of useful constructions in the manner similar to how an alphabet describes a wealth of human experience. With knobs, screws, hooks, snaps, magnetic interfaces and combinations of these interfaces, the pieces of the Invention pull themselves together with the strength needed in a particular circumstance. They can also be easily disassembled to form new constructions as needed. The blocks, and their interfaces, are modular and they can in turn build modular objects and constructions, like modular homes.
Modular illuminated decorative article
An illuminated modular decorative article includes a base control panel and a side panel. The base control panel includes a base, a first electrical/mechanical connection interface, and a power source. The side panel includes a base, a second electrical/mechanical connection interface, and illumination sources. The first electrical/mechanical connection interface connects to the second electrical/mechanical connection interface to electrically connect the base control panel to the side panel and to mechanically connect the base control panel substantially orthogonally to the side panel.
