In some embodiments, the top surface may be connected or coupled to a toy character, such as a human-like toy, an animal-like toy, a toy building structure, or a portion of a toy building structure. The coupling kit may comprise a toy platform having a top surface with one or more studs disposed in a parallel matrix, and at least one toy figure having a top surface and a bottom surface. The top surface of the toy figure may be connected to a toy character or a toy building structure. The bottom surface of the toy figure may comprise one or more recesses sized to frictionally engage the one or more studs.
