HEAT EXCHANGE APPARATUS AND METHOD
A heat exchanger apparatus includes a tube having a wall with an inner surface and an outer surface. The tube is configured to receive heat exchange fluid at one end, and output, when heated through the wall, vapor of the heat exchange fluid at the opposing end. A first layer of thermally conductive porous material is disposed on the inner surface of the tube. Heating equipment, a heat exchanger, and a method of heating are also disclosed.
Industrial wastewater recovery apparatus aiming at zero liquid discharge (ZLD)
The present invention provides an industrial wastewater recovery apparatus (100) aiming at Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD). The apparatus (100) provides two stages in pre-heating the spiral coil pipe (103) containing wastewater and also conserves the heat by using the two heat exchangers (104, 105). The apparatus (100) agitates the surface wastewater to increase the rate of evaporation for faster heating. The apparatus (100) provides two stages in condensation of distilled water and also provides real-time monitoring of the water quality. The apparatus (100) provides automatic cleaning in the various parts during the operations. Further, a plurality of IoT sensor (201) monitor the real time parameters of the industrial wastewater recovery apparatus (100) and data is available to the user on the electronic display device (204).
System for wort generation
A system and method for generating wort utilizing steam injection heating and stratified flow. The system mixes a fine ground grain with water to form a slurry. The slurry is pumped through a steam injection heater to form a mash. The heated mash enters into a stratified vessel that creates a stratified temperature profile from a first end to a second end. The stratified heating vessel allows the mash to flow from the first end to the second end without internal mixing. After retention within the mash coil, the wort is directed to a mash filtration unit. After filtration, the wort enters into a boil kettle and is heated using a second steam injection heater. The boil kettle includes a spray head that directs brewing liquor onto the wort to reduce foam within the boil kettle. Finally, the wort passes through a scraped surface sieve that removes particles from the heated wort.
Device for the prevention of cooking boilover
A device for the prevention of cooking boilover is disclosed. The device is placed on a cooking vessel while in use to disrupt building surface tension in a boiling liquid, and thus reduce or eliminate the tendency for the cooking vessel to boil over. The device for the prevention of cooking boilover (boilover preventer) has a first supporting member and a second supporting member with a center portion joined to each supporting member and having a generally concave upper surface with holes there through.

Rotary evaporator with mechanical foam breaker
A rotary evaporator for the vacuum distillation of a liquid is disclosed. The rotary evaporator contains an evaporator flask and a vapor feeder with an interior volume connected downstream of the evaporator flask. The rotary evaporator further contains a rotor that has a mechanical foam breaker within the interior volume of the vapor feeder. Further, a cooler is connected downstream of the vapor feeder.
