Chromatographic columns and separation devices comprising a superficially porous material; and use thereof for supercritical fluid chromatography and other chromatography
The present invention provides methods for performing supercritical fluid chromatography comprising loading a sample to be separated by supercritical fluid chromatography onto a stationary phase comprising a spherical, monodisperse, core-shell particulate material comprising a nonporous core and one or more layers of a porous shell material surrounding the core, wherein the particles are sized less than 2 microns; and performing supercritical fluid chromatography to separate the sample.
SEPARATION MEDIA AND PURIFICATION METHODS FOR NUCLEOTIDES AND NUCLEOTIDE COMPONENTS USING THE SAME
Separation media includes a membrane and a plurality of ligands immobilized on the membrane, the plurality of ligands comprising anion-exchange ligands, cation-exchange ligands, thiophilic ligands, hydrophilic ligands, hydrophobic interaction ligands, or a combination thereof. The separation media may be multimodal. The separation media may be configured for separation of target molecules comprising a nucleic acid, nucleotide, nucleoside, nucleobase, or an analogue or derivative thereof, from a reaction mixture. The separation media may be configured for use with organic solvents. A separation device includes the separation media. Materials including a nucleic acid, nucleotide, nucleoside, nucleobase, or an analogue or derivative thereof, may be purified at high speeds using the separation device.
Method for separation of radioactive sample using monolithic body on microfluidic chip
The present invention relates to monolithic bodies, uses thereof and processes for the preparation thereof. Certain embodiments of the present invention relate to the use of a monolithic body in the preparation of a radioactive substance, for example a radiopharmaceutical, as part of a microfluidic flow system and a process for the preparation of such a monolithic body.
MOGROSIDES AND USE THEREOF
The present invention provides a process for preparation of compositions comprising novel mogrosides from fruit of Siraitia grosvenorii. The compositions have superior organoleptic properties compared to known mogroside compositions and are useful in wider range of consumables including foods and beverages.
PSA-functionalized sol-gel sorbent materials and methods of preparation
The invention provides a sorbent material comprising a PSA that is synthesized via a sol-gel process. The sorbent material enables higher loading of PSA and other functional groups than conventional sorbents. The sorbent material can further encapsulate carbonaceous and/or non-carbonaceous particles that are distributed throughout the sorbent network. The invention also relates to a method of making the sorbent materials.
MONOLITHIC BODY
The present invention relates to monolithic bodies, uses thereof and processes for the preparation thereof. Certain embodiments of the present invention relate to the use of a monolithic body in the preparation of a radioactive substance, for example a radiopharmaceutical, as part of a microfluidic flow system and a process for the preparation of such a monolithic body.
CHROMATOGRAPHIC COLUMNS AND SEPARATION DEVICES COMPRISING A SUPERFICIALLY POROUS MATERIAL; AND USE THEREOF FOR SUPERCRITICAL FLUID CHROMATOGRAPHY AND OTHER CHROMATOGRAPHY
The present invention provides novel chromatographic materials, e.g., for chromatographic separations, processes for its preparation and separations devices containing the chromatographic material; separations devices, chromatographic columns and kits comprising the same; and methods for the preparation thereof. The chromatographic materials of the invention are superficially porous chromatographic particulate materials comprising sized less than 2 microns.
PET Tracer Purification System
The present invention provides a new chemical process, a new cassette configuration, and new software for the automated production of multiple batches of an [.sup.18F]-labelled compound on a single cassette. The invention allows one synthesizer in one hot cell to produce sequentially a plurality of batches of [.sup.18F]-labelled PET tracer in the same day. In particular, the present invention provides a novel arrangement useful for purifying two consecutive batches of a reaction mixture comprising an .sup.18F-labelled compound.
Sol-Gel Polymeric Stationary Phases for High-Performance Liquid Chromatography and Solid Phase Extraction: Their Method of Making
A sol-gel sorbent or chromatography stationary phase is a particulate metal oxide gel containing polymeric segments uniformly distributed throughout the metal oxide gel. The metal oxide gel is an oxide from silicone or other metal oxide that can have one of the valence bonds attached to an organic group and the remainder occupied by oxygens that can be provided as an oxide or an alkoxide or aryl oxide of the polymeric segments. The particles are used for an SPE sorbent or as a packing for a reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC), a normal phase high-performance liquid chromatography (NP-HPLC) column or a hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) column.
Devices and Methods for Plasmid Purification
The invention provides columns (including pipette tip columns) and automated methods for the purification of nucleic acids including plasmids. Nucleic acids can be purified from unclarified, clarified or partially-clarified cell lysates that contain cell debris. The columns typically include a bed of medium positioned above a bottom frit and with an optional top frit. Plasmid preparation scales include miniprep, midiprep, maxiprep, megaprep and gigaprep.
