DECANTING BACKWASH RECEIVER
Disclosed herein are decanting backwash receiver assemblies, and related methods of fabrication and use. The present disclosure provides improved decanting backwash receiver assemblies for decanting of input feeds, and improved systems/methods for utilizing and fabricating the decanting backwash receiver assemblies. The present disclosure provides decanting backwash receiver assemblies utilizing porous media insert members and/or porous media surfaces for the decanting of input feeds. Exemplary decanting backwash receiver assemblies are configured and dimensioned to receive a filter backwash surge flow of slurry (e.g., solids and liquid mixture), and provide for settling of the solids from flow 11, and provide for decanting of a liquid layer above the settled solids, and optionally provide for de wetting the settled solids, and provide for discharge of the settled solids (e.g., liquid wetted) from the bottom of the assemblies.
Method and Device for Extracting Clean Liquid from Slurry Reactor
The disclosure provides a device and method for extracting a clean liquid from a slurry reactor in an environment-friendly and energy-saving manner. The method mainly includes the following steps: S1. siphoning slurry in the slurry reactor into a material collecting pipe, and then spraying the slurry into a settling tank, so that solid particles settle in the settling tank and return to the slurry reactor through a discharging pipe; S2. making supernatant in the settling tank flow upward along a settling pipe, and then flow downward at a pipe intersection into a clear liquid pipe and flow into a clear liquid transition tank; S3. discharging liquid from the clear liquid transition tank in an overflow manner to keep the constant liquid level and a pressure required for siphoning; and S4. introducing gas in the material collecting pipe into an escape pipe and continuously discharging the gas to ensure that the liquid level in the escape pipe is always higher than the pipe intersection so as to ensure that the slurry reactor and the clear liquid transition tank are always communicated and the liquid levels are the same. The device according to the disclosure is simple in structure, and the process is simple, safe and reliable, and is not prone to failure. It is easy to implement large-scale continuous operation and adjust separation efficiency and precision. The device requires low equipment investment and is low in operation cost and environmentally friendly.
APPARATUS FOR PURIFYING WATER AND CORRESPONDING PURIFICATION METHOD
An apparatus for purifying water to be purified is provided with a tank with a bottom to receive sediment, an inlet connected to the bottom itself, at least one pump, outside the tank and connected to the inlet, at least one conduit disposed axially inside the tank, diverging upward and fluidically connected to the inlet to receive pressurized water fed by the pump, and a hydraulic accelerator/mixer assembly disposed in the tank and which connects the inlet to the conduit. The hydraulic accelerator/mixer assembly is configured to increase the speed of the flow of water to be purified, introduced into the tank.
Retrofit box system for cleaning inaccessible floors
Retrofit box systems to maximize operational capacity of inaccessible floors are described. The retrofit box system includes a gate complex that provides fluid communication between an inaccessible floor and a box, and a box to deliver a cleaner to the inaccessible floor and adapted for equalizing pressure when the inaccessible floor is under water while minimizing waste seepage from the retrofit box system. The retrofit box system further includes a power system and a control system to deliver the cleaner to the inaccessible floor and remove waste from the inaccessible floor and the box.
Well fluid management systems and methods
A well production particulate measurement system having a stationary frame removably mountable to tank, a hopper coupled to the frame and moveable relative to the frame; a well production inlet configured to receive well production and discharge the particulates and liquid into the hopper, and to strip at least a portion of a gas phase from the well production; and a weight transducer coupled to the system and configured to sense a weight of particulates in the hopper.
Launder cover system
A launder cover system for reducing or eliminating sunlight exposure so as to prevent algae growth in a tank such as a clarifier tank. The launder cover system generally includes a plurality of support members and a plurality of launder covers which are each independently pivotably connected to a tank wall of a tank, such as by using a mount. The support members are each pivotably connected to the tank wall by a pivot connector and the launder covers are each pivotably connected to the tank wall by a hinge connector. Each support member is positioned between a pair of launder covers, and each launder cover is positioned between a pair of support members. The support members function to support the launder covers in a raised or lowered position. A launder support may be connected to the channel wall to support the launder covers in their lowered positions.
