Method for recovering liquids from slurries
The method relates generally to a filtration and liquid displacement method for separating valuable or harmful liquids, herein termed Process Liquid, from mixtures or slurries that contain such liquids and solid particles. The method employs upflow filtration, operation of SAP Means and use of a Sweep Liquid that has a higher density than the Process Liquid.
Dual screen treatment systems with debris ramps and screened deflectors
Vaults, boxes, systems, and methods of treatment systems to capture pollutants from storm water runoff and prevent the conveyance of these pollutants from entering a receiving water body or landscape area, which is designed to be a part of a local permanent storm water drainage infrastructure. A single treatment box, vault and system combines both drainage conveyance, multi-level treatment techniques, variable hydraulic capabilities, and easy and inexpensive methods for servicing the system. A flow spreader having a triangular shape with straight sides, or concave sides or convex sides can split incoming water to pass into dual screen filtration systems. Additionally, an upwardly angled debris ramp above a downwardly angled screened defector can be located on both sides of the flow spreader to help direct debris and trash into dual screened boxes. The system can also include components selected from a shelf beneath the spreader, at least one baffle, skimmer, deflectors, media filtration and hydroslide water pressure lines with spray heads for cleaning debris on a sloped floor.
PRODUCTION OF LITHIUM HYDROXIDE AND LITHIUM CARBONATE
Methods and systems for production of lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonate are described. One or more embodiments of the method include producing lithium hydroxide from potassium chloride, lithium chloride, and water. One or more embodiments of the method include producing lithium carbonate from potassium chloride, lithium chloride, water, and a carbon dioxide source. One or more embodiments of the method include producing lithium carbonate from sodium chloride, lithium chloride, water, and a carbon dioxide source.
Fluid Treatment Systems And Methods
A system for separating solids from a fluid mixture includes a vessel including a first chamber to receive a solid-laden fluid mixture, and a second chamber to receive liquids separated from the solid-laden fluid mixture. In certain aspects, at least one eductor is disposed in the first chamber to flow the solid-laden fluid mixture out of the first chamber. In certain aspects, an auger is disposed in the first chamber to move at least solids of the solid-laden fluid mixture out of the first chamber.
GAS COOLING-SCRUBBING APPARATUS AND METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a gas cooling-scrubbing apparatus and an associated method. There is provided a gas cooling-scrubbing apparatus, comprising: a cyclone jet scrubbing unit, a spray scrubbing unit, a filtering spray unit, and a coalescing dehydration unit, wherein the cyclone jet scrubbing unit comprises a cyclone jet scrubbing monopipe (2), a cyclone jet cooling water pipe (15), a cyclone jet pipe plate (14) and a cyclone jet overflow pipe (13); wherein the spray scrubbing unit comprises a spray filtering pipe (3), a spray pipe plate (11), a spray overflow pipe (12), a scrubbing nozzle (9) and a scrubbing nozzle water pipe (10); wherein the filtering spray unit comprises a filtering bed (4), a spray head (7) and a spray water pipe (8); and wherein the coalescing dehydration unit comprises a coalescing bed (5). There is also provided a gas cooling-scrubbing method.
PALLET COATING WASTE RECOVERY SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a self-contained unit having a system for recovering polymer over spray from a pallet coating process. The self-contained unit includes a common enclosure having at least four walls, a ceiling and a floor. There is a collection tank located below the floor of the common enclosure and a roof platform is located above the ceiling of the common enclosure. Within the common enclosure is at least one spray booth having a waterfall wall with liquid flowing down a face of the waterfall wall to the collection tank. Mounted on the roof platform is a consolidation tank, hydrocyclone and pressure filter that are all part of the system for removing the polymer from the over spray mixture collected at the collection tank.
Rake-free thickening device including driving area
Disclosed is a rake-free thickening device including driving area. The device includes a feed assembly, a diversion assembly and a clean coal collection assembly. The clean coal collection assembly includes a driving area. The diversion assembly includes a central tank. Slime water passes through the feed assembly and flows with a medicament from an upper part of the central tank to a middle of the central tank, and then diffuses around. Bubbles carry the fine slime up after reacting. The driving zone drives the dispersed bubbles to a defoaming zone located in the middle of the central tank. The slime water in the central tank flows through the central tank after defoaming. With the continuously filling of slime water, the slime water above the central tank overflows the central tank to the clean coal collection assembly within the diversion and settlement area.
Flow back separation system and method
A flow back system for separating solids from a slurry recovered from a hydrocarbon well. The system includes a V-shaped tank with a first series of baffles configured to cause the settling of solids that are moved by a shaftless auger to a conduit fluidly connected to hydrocyclones mounted over a linear shaker. The overflow from the hydrocyclones is discharged through a second conduit back into the tank for processing by a second series of baffles resulting in a clean effluent. The clean effluent is recirculated in the well.
RECYCLE METHOD OF POLISHING AGENT SLURRY AND RECYCLE SYSTEM OF POLISHING AGENT SLURRY
Provided is a method for recycling a polishing agent slurry comprising: a first process including a slurry collecting process of collecting the used polishing agent slurry discharged from a polishing device; a desalting treatment process of reducing an ion concentration of the collected polishing agent slurry; and a dispersion treatment process of dispersing the polishing agent component and the constituent component of the object to be polished by adding a pH adjusting agent and a dispersing agent to the desalted polishing agent slurry; and after the first process, a second process of preparing a recycled polishing agent slurry from the polishing agent component by separating the polishing agent component and the constituent component of the object to be polished.
System and method of solids conditioning in a filtration system
A method and apparatus for conditioning the settled solids in the bottom of a wastewater filtration tank to reduce the acidification of the sludge and prevent the excessive growth of undesirable biological growth.
