SEPARATION VESSEL WITH ENHANCED PARTICULATE REMOVAL
A separation tank for crude oil. Fluid enters an inlet section of a center column of the tank via an offset inlet pipe so the fluid enters swirling. Solids that settle in the inlet section are removed by a center column drain and a solids removal system. Free gas rises and exits from the top of the tank. Liquid flows out of the center column via a diffuser that spirals the fluid evenly toward the wall of the tank where oil coalesces and wicks upward. Liquid flows downward around two flow diverting baffles where more oil coalesces and wicks upward via an oil conduit into the oil layer. The water flows under the lower flow diverting baffle and exits the tank through the outlet section. A large circular oil collector weir uniformly removes oil from the oil layer. Interface draw offs located below the oil-water interface remove excess BS&W.
FLUID-BORNE PARTICLE CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
There is provided a particle classification system comprising: a classifier including: a vat defining an interior cavity, a feeder conduit upstream of the interior cavity, an overflow conduit in fluid communication between a top of the interior cavity and outside the vat, an underflow conduit downstream of the interior cavity and a controllable underflow valve fluidly connected to a bottom of the interior cavity, the underflow valve controlled to be either in an open configuration in which the interior cavity is in fluid communication with the underflow conduit or in a closed configuration in which the interior cavity is sealed from the underflow conduit; a feed preparation circuit upstream of the feeder conduit; a rejection circuit downstream of the overflow conduit, and a beneficiation circuit downstream of the underflow conduit. There is also provided a method of classifying fluid-borne particles comprising obtaining a feed containing high-density particles.
System and method of solids conditioning in a filtration system
A method and apparatus for conditioning the settled solids in the bottom of a wastewater filtration tank to reduce the acidification of the sludge and prevent the excessive growth of undesirable biological growth.
Removable trap stations for hydrocarbon flowlines
Removable trap stations for hydrocarbon flowlines can be implemented as an apparatus. The apparatus includes a multi-phase fluid receiver body and a tank defining an interior volume. The fluid receiver body is configured to couple to a flowline carrying a multi-phase fluid including solids and liquids. The fluid receiver body includes an inlet portion configured to receive a portion of the multi-phase fluid including a portion of the solids flowing through the flowline into the receiver body. The fluid receiver body includes an outlet portion fluidically coupled to the inlet portion. The portion of the multi-phase fluid is configured to flow from the inlet portion to the outlet portion. The tank is fluidically and detachably coupled to the outlet and is configured to receive and retain the portion of the multi-phase fluid received through the inlet portion.
SLURRY REMOVAL SYSTEM
A slurry removal system includes a tank, an eddy pump, and a pipe system. The tank is configured to receive a mixture of solid material and liquid. The eddy pump has a pump inlet connected to the tank and a pump outlet. The pipe system is connected to the pump outlet and including a discharge line and a recirculation line. The eddy pump is configured to pump the mixture of solid material and liquid from the tank through the pump inlet to the recirculation line to form an essentially homogeneous mixture, and configured to pump the essentially homogeneous mixture from the tank through the pump inlet to the discharge line to remove the homogeneous mixture from the tank.
Dual screen treatment systems with debris ramps and screened deflectors
Vaults, boxes, systems, and methods of treatment systems to capture pollutants from storm water runoff and prevent the conveyance of these pollutants from entering a receiving water body or landscape area, which is designed to be a part of a local permanent storm water drainage infrastructure. A single treatment box, vault and system combines both drainage conveyance, multi-level treatment techniques, variable hydraulic capabilities, and easy and inexpensive methods for servicing the system. A flow spreader having a triangular shape with straight sides, or concave sides or convex sides can split incoming water to pass into dual screen filtration systems. Additionally, an upwardly angled debris ramp above a downwardly angled screened defector can be located on both sides of the flow spreader to help direct debris and trash into dual screened boxes. The system can also include components selected from a shelf beneath the spreader, at least one baffle, skimmer, deflectors, media filtration and hydroslide water pressure lines with spray heads for cleaning debris on a sloped floor.
Separator system and method
A separator system and method may provide a four-way separator that may separate a material and remove a hazardous material. The hazardous material may include gas and sand that may be removed by the four-way separator. The separator system and method may further provide a main unit that may include three chambers or recirculation hoppers, an auger sand extractor, and a strap tank. The separator system and method may provide a faster rig-up time and may be exclusively driven by hydraulics.
Fluid Treatment Systems And Methods
A system for separating solids from a fluid mixture includes a vessel including a first chamber to receive a solid-laden fluid mixture, and a second chamber to receive liquids separated from the solid-laden fluid mixture. In certain aspects, at least one eductor is disposed in the first chamber to flow the solid-laden fluid mixture out of the first chamber. In certain aspects, an auger is disposed in the first chamber to move at least solids of the solid-laden fluid mixture out of the first chamber.
FLUID TREATMENT SYSTEM AND PROCESS
A fluid treatment system is provided. A clarification reactor or chamber, configured for receiving an influent, is provided wherein separated water and separated solids may be formed from the influent while inside and/or outside the reactor. An influent inlet, positioned essentially at the top of the reactor, configured to allow the influent to enter the reactor is provided. A separated water outlet is provided, positioned essentially at the top of the reactor, that is configured to allow the separated water to exit the reactor. A solids discharge is also provided, positioned essentially at the bottom of the reactor, that is configured to allow the separated solids to exit the reactor. A downward angled baffle, positioned inside the reactor, is configured to deflect the separated solids towards the solids discharge.
System and method of solids conditioning in a filtration system
A method and apparatus for conditioning the settled solids in the bottom of a wastewater filtration tank to reduce the acidification of the sludge and prevent the excessive growth of undesirable biological growth.
