Pool filter core
A pool filter core, comprising two portions, a first portion and a second portion, wherein each of the two portions may be halved or truncated cylinders, wherein the portions are configured to engage one another along the vertical edges of the portions, such that when the portions engage one another, an open cylinder is formed that is configured to support a filter substrate and allow for water to flow from outside to inside.
MECHANICAL INTERLOCK SYSTEM FOR A FILTER
A mechanical interlock system for a fluid filter is described herein. The mechanical interlock system may include a filter cartridge and a filter cartridge manifold for receiving the filter cartridge. The filter cartridge may include a filter body, a fluid inlet and outlet, and an integrated locking head. The integrated locking head may include a key extending radially outward from the integrated locking head and channels on an outer surface of the integrated locking head. The filter cartridge manifold may include an insertion and extraction tube for receiving the key and latching mechanisms. The insertion and extraction tube may include a primary keyway and a secondary keyway. The key, keyways, latching mechanisms, and/or channels may interact to maintain alignment of the filter cartridge during insertion of the filter cartridge into an appliance including the filter cartridge manifold.
Oil sequestering spin-on cartridge
An oil sequestering, air-drying cartridge device comprises a pair of tandem fluid diodes for respectively preventing backflow of moist air into an oil coalescing filter and preventing backflow of dry air into a desiccant material. The device comprises an outer cartridge skin and a middle shell concentrically nested between the cartridge skin and an inner shell. The middle shell houses channel walls having offset wave-like contours that prevent backflow of moist air into the oil filter, and the inner shell comprises similar channel walls that prevent backflow of dry air into the desiccant, which is positioned between the inner and middle shells.
FILTER ASSEMBLIES, DEPTH INDICATORS, TORQUE-LIMITING FITTINGS, TORQUE-INDICATING FITTINGS, AND SYSTEMS INCORPORATING THE SAME
In some examples, a filter assembly may include a filter including a first gasket having a first channel adjacent to a first side of the filter and a second gasket having a second channel adjacent to a second side of the filter. The first gasket and the second gasket may include a beveled surface adjacent to the filter. The first channel and the second channel may include a diameter of from about 0.01 mm to about 0.5 mm. A finger tightening system may securely hold the filter without any leaks.
Filter assembly for ice making appliance
A filter cartridge assembly for an ice making appliance having a rectilinear filter cartridge with a plurality of partitions that are positioned within an internal chamber, form multiple sub-chambers, and create a non-linear pathway for the flow of water through the filter cartridge. Filter media positioned in the sub-chambers of the filter cartridge are configured to remove dissolved solids from water travelling through the filter cartridge and used by the appliance to create ice, including clear ice.
Air cleaner assemblies and methods of use
An air cleaner assembly is disclosed. In one aspect, the air cleaner assembly includes a housing defining an inlet and an outlet, and including an access opening between the inlet and outlet. The air cleaner also includes a filter cartridge received within the housing and covering the access opening. The air cleaner also includes a lock mechanism. The lock mechanism is movable between an unlocked position in which the filter cartridge can be installed and removed from the housing and a locked position in which the filter cartridge is secured within the housing. The filter cartridge and lock mechanism include interacting features allowing the lock mechanism to be moved from the unlocked position to the locked position only when the filter cartridge is installed within the housing.
ELEMENT OF, CARTRIDGE AND CONTAINER WITH, FILTER FOR SLURRY
A long-life in filters is required as filter members for slurry liquid having high-viscosity and high-solid-content ratio. It is provided to solve the problem, the filter element for filtering slurry liquid, wherein nets and non-woven fabrics are alternately layered, wherein each of the nets has first fibers parallelly extending in one direction and second fibers parallelly extending in a direction angled to the one direction and contacting sides of the first fibers, wherein the first and second fibers forms mesh-pores at portions surrounded by the first and second fibers, wherein each of the non-woven fabrics has protrusions on surfaces of the each of the non-woven fabrics in a thickness-direction, the protrusions formed to repeatedly come out on the surfaces of the each of the non-woven fabrics in a surface-direction of the each of the non-woven fabrics.
Reverse osmosis prefilter system
A reverse osmosis prefilter system includes a recirculation chamber for accommodating one or more prefilter cartridges. The recirculation chamber is communicably interconnected to an inline water source and an RO filtration membrane. The recirculation chamber has a recirculation outlet and inlet which are communicably interconnected by an offline pump that recirculates prefiltered water repeatedly through the recirculation chamber and prefilter cartridges to remove particulates from the source water prior to delivery to the reverse osmosis filter membrane.
Water filter cartridge with slanted nozzles
A water filter cartridge has an end cap with separate inlet and outlet nozzles connected to the end of a cylindrical tube that extends from the end cap. The nozzles are slanted and laterally offset from the cylindrical tube. A cam surface on the outer side of the nozzles actuates valves in a mating manifold. The passage in the nozzles is conical, expanding toward the nozzle end and opening onto a portion of the nozzle side to form a sharper tip. Expanding ice pushes itself out of the conical passage and facilitates ice removal. The narrow end of the conical passage facilitates breakage and removal of ice from the nozzle.
