A device for forming a liquid treatment apparatus includes a main part, a receiving part including a cavity for receiving a connecting head of a replaceable liquid treatment cartridge having at least one port in liquid communication with an interior of the liquid treatment cartridge. The receiving part is journalled for movement between a first and a second position with respect to the main part. The head is insertable into and retractable from the cavity in the first position. The liquid treatment cartridge is lockable to the device by at least moving the receiving part with the inserted connecting head into the second position. The movement includes a component corresponding to an intrinsic rotation in a plane parallel to a direction of insertion. The movement further includes at least a component corresponding to a displacement of the receiving part relative to the main part.

A water purifying apparatus includes: a plurality of filters purifying and discharging introduced water along flow paths formed therein; a plurality of heads to which the plurality of filters are individually mounted to be detachable, the plurality of heads each having an inlet part and an outlet part, through which water is introduced and discharged; a mounting member to which the plurality of heads are mounted in parallel, the mounting member having a rotation supporting part that rotatably supports the head, and the rotation supporting part being formed recessed such that the inlet part and the outlet part are accommodated therein; and a connecting cap mounted on the rotation supporting part to connect the inlet part and the outlet part to communicate with each other.

The receiving part is journalled for movement between a first and a second position with respect to the main part whilst the connecting head is inserted in the cavity. The head is insertable into and retractable from the cavity in the first position. The liquid treatment cartridge is lockable to the device by at least moving the receiving part with the inserted connecting head into the second position.

A filter device for plasticized molding material includes a filter body and an adjusting body movable relative to the filter body between a first position and a second position. In the first position, a first flow path for the plasticized molding material is defined by channels in the filter body and in the adjusting body, and the first flow path is formed such that the plasticized molding material is filtered. In the second position, a second flow path for the plasticized molding material is defined by channels in the filter body and in the adjusting body, and the second flow path is formed such that the channels and/or a filter element are at least partially flushed and/or backflushed.

A disc filter includes a filtrate holding tank disposed below a series of disc-shaped filter members supported on a drum. Filtrate from the holding tank is used to backwash filter media on the disc-shaped filter members. Filtrate is discharged from the holding tank via a filtrate conduit. Bypass water is directed through a bypass conduit in the disc filter and mixed with the filtrate downstream of the filtrate holding tank. This assures that the filtrate used to backwash the filter media does not include bypass water.

An end material recovery apparatus includes a plurality of cages each in which an upper portion is opened, the plurality of cages each having at least one surface formed of at least one of a mesh-like surface and a porous surface, the plurality of cages being configured to receive a mixed liquid in which an end material is mixed with a liquid from the upper portion, collect at least a part of the end material in the mixed liquid, and discharge the liquid from the at least one surface; a rotation drive mechanism configured to individually rotate the plurality of cages in a direction in which the upper portion faces downward; and a plurality of recovery containers configured to recover the end material dropped by individually rotating the plurality of cages in the direction in which the upper portion faces downward.
