The hydrocarbon adsorbent comprises a small-pore zeolite having a total desorption amount ZD.sub.1 of propylene desorbed at 50° C. or higher and lower than 300° C. being 3.5 mmol/g or less and a total desorption amount ZD.sub.2 of propylene desorbed at 300° C. or higher and 500° C. or lower being 0.5 mmol/g or more, per 1 g by mass of the small-pore zeolite, when adsorbing propylene at 50° C. and then heating from 50° C. to 500° C. under the condition of 10° C./min by a temperature-programmed desorption method.

Methods and systems for producing aromatics and light olefins from a mixed plastics stream are described. The method may include feeding a plastic feedstock to a dechlorination operation to melt the plastic feedstock to release HCl and generate a liquid plastic stream; feeding the liquid plastic stream to a pyrolysis reactor, the pyrolysis reactor to generate hydrocarbon vapors; feeding the hydrocarbon vapors to an acid gas removal reactor with a solid inorganic alkali salt disposed within the reaction vessel to remove residual HCl and sulfur-containing compounds from the hydrocarbon vapors to generate a plastic derived oil; and feeding the plastic derived oil to a steam enhanced catalytic cracking reactor to generate a product stream comprising light olefins having a carbon number of C.sub.2-C.sub.4 and aromatics. The associated system for processing mixed plastics into aromatics and light olefins is also described.

A portable pressure swing adsorption method and system for fuel gas conditioning. A fuel gas conditioning system includes a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) system fluidly coupled to a rich gas stream, the PSA system including a plurality of adsorbent beds and configured to condition the rich natural gas stream and produce therefrom a high-quality fuel gas and gaseous separated heavier hydrocarbons, a product end of the adsorbent beds fluidly coupled to a fuel gas line, wherein the high-quality fuel gas is discharged from the product end and supplied to the fuel gas line, and a feed end of the adsorbent beds configured to be fluidly coupled to the rich natural gas stream or a raw natural gas stream, wherein the produced gaseous separated heavier hydrocarbons are recirculated into the rich natural gas stream or the raw natural gas stream.

Provided is a method for desulphurizating and denitrating a flue gas in an integrated manner based on low-temperature adsorption. The method includes: decreasing a temperature of the flue gas below a room temperature by using a flue gas cooling system; removing moisture in the flue gas by using a dehumidification system; sending the flue gas to a SO.sub.2 and NO.sub.x adsorbing column system; and simultaneously adsorbing SO.sub.2 and NO.sub.x of the flue gas with a material of activated coke, activated carbon, a molecular sieve or diatom mud in the SO.sub.2 and NO.sub.x adsorbing column system to implement an integration of desulphurization and denitration of the flue gas based on the low-temperature adsorption. With the present method, SO.sub.2 and NO.sub.x of the flue gas can be adsorbed simultaneously in an environment having a temperature below the room temperature.

A sieve bed assembly monitoring system is disclosed. The system includes a sieve bed assembly including a canister having an intake; adsorbent material to produce oxygen enriched air from compressed air in a swing adsorption process; and an identification device including identification data for the sieve bed assembly, wherein the identification data is capable of uniquely identifying the sieve bed assembly. The system includes an oxygen concentrator having a retention mechanism to retain the sieve bed assembly, a compressor supplying compressed air to the intake of the canister, a controller, a transceiver and a reader operable to read the identification data from the identification device. The controller reads the identification data and transmits the read identification data via the transceiver. A remote external device receives the read identification data from transceiver.

A compressor is coupled to the canister. The compressor compresses air for the canister to produce oxygen enriched air in a swing adsorption process. The tank includes a closed container for collecting oxygen enriched air produced in the canister. An inlet is coupled to the container. An outlet in the container allows a patient to inhale the collected oxygen enriched air. An adsorbent material within the container adsorbs oxygen enriched air added to the tank from the canister.
