A system and method for capturing volatile organic components from a liner curing process for pipes. The system receives steam exhausted from the liner. The steam is used for curing a curable material in the liner, but volatilizes organic components in the resin carried along with the steam. The system removes some water and passes the remaining vaporized constituents through a filter selected to capture the particular volatile organic component from the steam.

NICKEL-BASED MOF FILM PHOTOCATALYST GROWN IN-SITU ON FOAMED NICKEL SURFACE, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR, AND APPLICATION THEREOF

A nickel-based MOF film photocatalyst grown in-situ on a foamed nickel surface, a preparation method therefor, and an application thereof. The nickel-based MOF film photocatalyst grown in-situ on a foamed nickel surface is prepared by first immersing foamed nickel in a diluted acid and performing ultrasonic processing, then cleaning the foamed nickel with deionized water, and drying the foamed nickel to obtain surface-activated foamed nickel; immersing the surface-activated nickel foam in a mixture of an imidazole compound, sodium formate, and a solvent and reacting at 100° C. to 180° C. to obtain an unactivated nickel-based MOFs film on the surface of the foamed nickel, and after cooling to room temperature, removing same and soaking in an organic solvent to activate, and then drying the obtained product. The film photocatalyst synthesized in-situ on the foamed nickel can increase the specific surface area of the material to facilitate the adsorption and diffusion of VOCs, and can expose more catalytic sites, so that the VOCs can be effectively degraded under the action of sunlight.

GAS PURIFICATION PROCESSING APPARATUS

A gas purification processing apparatus is described. The gas purification processing apparatus can control the generation of adsorption heat by an adsorbate substance in purification processing and thereby prevent desorption or ignition or the like of the adsorbate component by performing cooling processing on an adsorbent itself when needed. This advantageously ensures high adsorption efficiency with a simple and convenient configuration. During operation of the apparatus, gas is supplied from the source and purified by a purification part and then discharged as a purified gas. When the temperature of the purification part exceeds a predetermined temperature, a cooling medium is supplied from the cooling processing part to cool the purification part.

Filtering system, painting system, and method for operating a filtering system

In order to provide a filter system for separating off contaminants from a stream of untreated gas that contains contaminants that is of simple construction and is operable efficiently, it is proposed that the filter system should include the following: a base construction through which the stream of untreated gas is guidable and which includes at least one filter module receptacle for receiving at least one filter module, and at least one filter module which is selectively arrangeable on and/or in the at least one filter module receptacle and/or removable therefrom, wherein the at least one filter module includes a plurality of filter element receptacles for receiving a plurality of mutually independent filter elements.

PROCESS FOR REMOVING OXIDISABLE GASEOUS COMPOUNDS FROM A GAS MIXTURE BY MEANS OF A PLATINUM-CONTAINING OXIDATION CATALYST

Process for catalytic oxidative removal of at least one oxidisable gaseous compound from a gas mixture comprising the at least one oxidisable gaseous compound as well as oxygen through the use of an oxidation catalyst, whereby the gas mixture is not a combustion flue gas, characterised in that the oxidation catalyst was produced through the use of at least one exothermic-decomposing platinum precursor.

FILTERING APPARATUS WITH AT LEAST ONE FILTER UNIT
20220055058 · 2022-02-24 ·

A filtering apparatus having a housing with lateral, upstream and downstream walls, and a top plate disposed at a significant angle to incoming overspray air to accelerate and guide the particulate-laden air. The angle of the top plate directs the air upstream and away from the filters so the larger solids impact the top plate and wall and adhere, removing paint from the air. Larger solids too massive to turn while accelerating through an opening into an entry chamber collect on the upstream sidewall and the highly filtered air flows toward filter units disposed downstream of the entry opening. Lighter solids that flow downstream are removed by the filtration media. An overhang of the angled top plate reduces flow into the filter units of collected solids.

METHOD AND REGENERATIVE SEPARATING APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING CONTAMINANTS FROM PROCESS EXHAUST AIR

In a method for separating organic solvents from solvent-containing process exhaust air, the process exhaust air is directed through a separation zone of a separating device, and the separating device is regenerated by passing a regeneration stream through a regeneration zone of the separating device. The regeneration stream passing through the separating device during regeneration is divided into a first partial stream having an impurity concentration less than a first predetermined limit, and a second partial stream having an impurity concentration equal or greater than a second predetermined limit, by means of a dividing means, wherein the second predetermined limit is equal to or greater than the first predetermined limit, to return the first partial stream generated during regeneration to the separating device and direct the second partial stream generated during regeneration to a cleaning device.
