Pressure equalizing system for air separation purification and control method
Disclosed in the present invention are a pressure equalizing system for air separation purification, and a control method. The system comprises: a first air main pipe; a pressurizing gas pipeline, which is connected to the first air main pipe and used for receiving a pressurizing gas and delivering same to the first air main pipe; and a control valve, located on the pressurizing gas pipeline, and having a degree of opening regulated by the flow regulator, thereby regulating an air intake amount of the pressurizing gas pipeline. The present invention solves the problem of an air separation rectification process being affected when dry nitrogen is used for pressure equalization of an adsorber; in the switching process of entering an adsorption stage from a regeneration stage, pressurizing dry nitrogen used in a pressure equalizing step previously mixes with damp air from a main air compressor before entering the adsorber, such that the gas components flowing towards an air separation cold box remain substantially unchanged, in order to reduce disturbance in conditions of gas entering a rectification column to take part in rectification due to a gas component gradually changing from dry nitrogen to dry air in the prior art, thus stabilizing the process conditions of the air separation cold box.

TEMPERATURE VACUUM SWING ADSORPTION PROCESS SUITED FOR CARBON CAPTURE TO REGENERATE SORBENTS USING THE CO2 PRODUCT GAS AS THE HEAT TRANSFER MEDIUM
Solid sorbents, and especially zeolites, are attractive candidates for CO.sub.2 direct air capture (DAC) and point source capture applications because of their potential for high selectivity, fast kinetics, and low energy CO.sub.2 capture cycles. A common issue with solid sorbents, including zeolites, is their low thermal conductivity, which makes them difficult to heat for regeneration without using complex and expensive heat transfer systems. This invention utilizes a modified TVSA process which utilizes the product CO.sub.2 gas itself as the heating medium for the adsorbent bed, alone or in conjunction with internal or external heaters. The use of CO.sub.2 as a heating medium allows efficient heating of the sorbent bed and enables high purity CO.sub.2 product.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING OPERATIONS IN AN OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR
Methods and apparatus may implement controlled generation of oxygen enriched air in an oxygen concentrator while implementing control that reduces pneumatic imbalance between the concentrator's canisters, such as dynamic pressure imbalance or other pneumatic characteristic. One or more controllers may regulate operation of a compressor that feeds a pressurised air stream to the concentrator's canisters. This may regulate speed of the compressor to a speed set point for generating the pressurised stream. The regulating may involve generating a compressor control signal having a characteristic parameter such as a power parameter. The controller(s) may operate valve(s) in a cyclic pattern so as to produce oxygen enriched air in an accumulator. A cycle of the cyclic pattern may include a plurality of phases, where each of the plurality of phases has a duration. The controller(s) may then generate a dynamic adjustment to the duration(s) based on an evaluation of the characteristic parameter.
