The invention pertains to an air filter element comprising a tubular main body having a first axial end surface and a second axial end surface; wherein said first end surface comprises a first engagement means and said second end surface comprises a second engagement means; said first engagement means and said second engagement means being configured to enter into releasable engagement such that said first engagement means releasably engages with a second engagement means of a like air filter element in axial alignment with said air filter element and said second engagement means releasably engages with a first engagement means of a like air filter element in axial alignment with said air filter element; whereby said releasable engagement is able to withstand an axial pulling force up to a first level and whereby said releasable engagement is released when subjected to a pulling force above a second level.

A gas filtering device includes an element and a case. The element includes a filter that filters a gas and a frame that holds a periphery of the filter. The case accommodates the element. The case includes a first member and a second member that are coupled to each other with the element interposed therebetween. The first member includes a frame holder that holds a periphery of the frame when the first member is coupled to the second member, and a temporary holder that performs temporary holding of the frame so that a part of the frame is separated from the frame holder and the frame is curved when the first member is not coupled to the second member. The second member includes a temporary-holding canceller that cancels the temporary holding of the frame by the temporary holder when the second member is being coupled to the first member.

An air filtration panel is used in an information handling system (IHS) rack within a modular data center. The air filtration panel includes an air filter and a filter frame. The filter frame has a lateral width at least as wide as a transverse opening in a four-post rack. The four-post rack has left and right flanges respectively coupled to a pair of posts of the four-post rack. Each of the left and right flanges has vertically aligned holes. The filter frame includes a channel that receives and contains an outer edge of the air filter. The filter frame left and right surfaces each having fastener through-holes spaced to align with and mount to respective holes in the corresponding one of the left and right flanges of the four-post rack.

The invention relates to a filter for a brake device, comprising a case, a cylindrical tubular filtering element and a dismantlable axial fastening system. The filtering element is located inside the case and the case includes a cylindrical tubular lateral wall having two opposite end edges, a first and a second. The filtering element sits on an internal surface of the lateral wall of the case. The dismantlable axial fastening system provides axial fastening of the filter when same is assembled in the brake device, axial fastening of the filtering element inside the case, and means for assembling and dismantling the filter. The purpose of the filter is to collect all the particles harmful to health that are released each time the brake device brakes, preventing said particles from being transferred to the air that is breathed.

The invention is based on an air filter with a filter element (28), a substantially cylindrical filter housing (12) with an unfiltered air inlet (18) and a filtered air outlet (20) arranged substantially concentrically on a first end face of the filter housing (12), wherein an extension tube (22) projects into the interior of the filter housing (12) at the filtered air outlet (20) and the filter element (28) comprises a first end plate (24) which can be plugged onto the extension tube (22).

It is proposed that the first end plate (24) is formed of plastic and comprises a sealing lip (30) formed thereon and projecting radially inwardly, which sealing lip (30) rests against the extension tube (22) in the plugged-on state.

A face mask and a removable insert, the insert being constructed primarily of cidal metal or cidal metal alloy wherein the cidal metal or cidal metal alloy is the major structural component of the insert. The insert is positioned on the face mask to cover at least a portion of the wearer's mouth and nose when the mask is worn on the wearer's face. The insert has a filtering portion comprising cidal metal mesh or cidal metal alloy mesh to provide cidal action, air purification, and self-disinfection.

A kit and assembly for securing any filter, screen or covering to a perimeter intake face surrounding an opening. The kit and assembly includes a series of tracks adapted to mount against the intake face in surrounding fashion around the opening. A plurality of fasteners are slidably installed upon each of the tracks prior to inter-assembly. The tracks further include opposite exterior rail locations which oppose tabs configured into interior facing locations of the fasteners so that the fasteners are adjustable along the tracks. The filter, screen or covering further includes a plurality of perimeter spaced apertures for securing to engaging portions of the fasteners and in order to mount the filter, screen or covering to the intake face.

Systems and methods for coupling filter elements to at least one flange extending inside a housing are disclosed. In one aspect, a filter system may include a housing having an inlet, an outlet, a first end, a second end, a sidewall extending between the first end and the second end, a longitudinal centerline, and at least one flange extending inside the housing; and a plurality of filter elements located inside the housing, the plurality of filter elements each including an end shaped to couple directly to the at least one flange.

A filter for in-line or inlet applications. The filter may include a spindle for supporting a filter element. In some embodiments, the spindle may be fixedly attached to a filter cap or filter body. The filter may be used as an in-line filter with a hose or tube on the inlet and outlet ports of the filter cap and filter body. In addition, or alternatively, a filter consistent with the present disclosure may be provided with a splash cap that allows use of the filter as a protected inlet for fluid flow. When used as an inlet filter, fluid may enter the filter through the splash cap and exit the filter through hose or tube coupled to the filter body. Both uses allow for serviceability.

A screen assembly adapted to be removably coupled to an air filter of a construction vehicle includes a frame member including a first portion and a second portion. The screen assembly includes a screen member coupled to the frame member such that a hollow space is defined by the screen member and the frame member. The screen member includes a plurality of perforations adapted to allow passage of air therethrough. The plurality of perforations are further adapted to restrict an ingress of debris into the hollow space of the screen assembly.
