Livestock facility air filtration mounting system
A livestock facility air filter grid system comprising perimeter vertical and horizontal stiffener plates and interlocking horizontal and vertical field stiffener plates which provides an improved sealed assembly and eliminates the potential for direct air by-pass of the filters.
Filter element and method for manufacturing a filter element
A filter element (100) that is to be mounted in a housing (102) has at least one substantially hollow cylindrical filter bellows (10, 20) designed to separate liquid from aerosol, and two cover elements (30, 40) designed to cover axial end regions (12, 14, 22, 24) of the filter bellows (10, 20). The axial end portions (12, 14, 22, 24) of the at least one filter bellows (10, 20) are pressed against the cover element (30, 40) by an axial compressing force. The at least one filter bellows (10, 20) is secured in the axial direction, and one respective sealing zone (16, 18, 26, 28) is formed between each filter (10, 20) and each cover element (30, 40).
FILTERING DEVICES FOR EVACUATION STATIONS
A filtering device for an evacuation station includes a filter bag configured to collect debris evacuated from a cleaning robot by an evacuation station. The filtering device includes an interface assembly configured to interface with the evacuation station. The interface assembly includes (i) a base attached to the filter bag along an opening of the filter bag, (ii) an access door configured to provide or limit access to a space within the filter bag depending on whether the access door is in an open position or a closed position, and (iii) one or more hinges connecting the base to the access door. The access door is rotatable around the one or more hinges from the closed position to the open position.
FILTER ELEMENT
A filter element includes a frame having an outlet panel and two side panels defining a U-shape. A U-shaped media anchor channel extends along the distal side edge of each panel. Each media anchor channel can have a snap-tab or other locking feature. The element encloses a pleated panel filter media pack having a side edge along each side of the pack. Each side edge of the media pack is located in a media anchor channel, and a bead of adhesive is applied along the channel. A pair of seal bars, each having a u-shape and a snap-tab or other feature that cooperates with the u-shape and the snap-tab of each media anchor channel, is pressed into each channel. Each seal bar mechanically retains a respective media side edge in the channel and together with the adhesive, provides a consistent, robust seal between the media and the frame.
EMBER BLOCKING VENT SCREEN AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
An ember-blocking vent screen for covering a roof vent comprises a screen section and at least two strips of pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) heavy duty tape attached at opposite edges of the screen section such that deployment portions of the tape strips overlap and extend transversely beyond their respective screen edges. The screen section is made of stainless steel or aluminum wire, has interstices sufficiently small to block passage of small minimum diameter embers therethrough, is lightweight, and is sufficiently malleable to be capable of conforming to the contour of the vent being covered. The deployment portion of the tape strips is such that deployment portions of the tape extend transversely (i.e., widthwise) beyond respective screen edges covered with a release liner that is removable for installation of the screen
Vacuum-cleaner filter bag for a hand-held vacuum cleaner
The invention comprises a vacuum cleaner filter bag (1), comprising a bag wall (2) and a retaining plate (3), wherein the retaining plate (3) is connected to an at least partially cylindrical connection piece (4) which extends in a direction perpendicular to a passage opening (5) formed in the retaining plate (3), wherein the bag wall (2) is connected with the lateral surface of the connection piece (4) along the circumference thereof.
Particle filter as well as method for the manufacture thereof
A method for manufacturing a filter (1) for gas masks includes providing a flat paper and folding the paper into a pleated preform. The filter element (2) is separated from the pleated preform (6) and is inserted into a housing (3). The inserted filter element (2) is connected to the housing (3) at least at some points. This filter elements (2) may have a polygonal outer contour, upon separating the element from the pleated filter preform (6). A foam and/or an adhesive is applied to an outer edge of the filter element (2), arranged on the circumference of the filter element, for an at least partial sealing of an edge (5). This establishes a connection to the housing (3) in at least some sections.
Exhalation Filtration Device with Aerosol Separator, Collection Reservoir, and Non-Rebreather Option
A Non-Rebreather Exhalation Filtration Device (FD) with a front plastic sheet (PS), an aerosol separator (AS) and optionally a collection reservoir (R) may be fitted (i) (FIG. 3A) by its inlet port (IP) onto a nebulizer exhaust tube (NET), or (ii) by an adhesive layer (AL) onto a respiratory mask (M) having a port (P) and a flat surface (FIG. 5), or (iii) by an adhesive layer (AL) and flexible substrate (FS) onto a respiratory mask (M) having a port (P) and a non-flat (FIG. 6) surface. A deflector (D), stiffener component (SC) and rear plastic sheet (PS2) are disclosed. Methods of using the Filtration Device are disclosed.
Brake Dust Particle Filter with a Filter Insert
A brake dust particle filter for a disc brake assembly is provided with a housing that has a first housing side wall, a second housing side wall, and a housing circumferential wall, wherein the housing circumferential wall extends between the first housing side wall and the second housing side wall. A filter insert with a filter medium is arranged in the housing and extends along one of the first and second housing side walls and along the housing circumferential wall. The filter insert has a curved circumferential edge. The housing has a curved receiving groove. The curved circumferential edge engages the curved receiving groove. The filter insert is L-shaped and is configured to at least partially cover a friction surface and a circumferential surface of a brake disc of the disc brake assembly. The curved circumferential edge of the filter insert projects past the filter medium.
