Air Purifier
The present application discloses an air purifier, including: a first body including a first housing; and a second body detachably connected to the first body and including a second housing, where buckles are arranged on the first housing, and snap-fit members are arranged on the second housing; the number of the buckles is greater than the number of the snap-fit members; and the first body in butt joint is enabled to rotate relative to the second body, so that the buckles can be hooked with the snap-fit members or separated from the snap-fit members. In the air purifier, a larger number of buckles are hooked with a smaller number of snap-fit members, so that disassembly and assembly operations can be simplified. Because the first body and the second body are detachable, the second body can be operated independently when the filter screen is detached.
EXHAUST GAS PURIFYING DEVICE OF INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
Provided is an exhaust gas purifying device of an internal-combustion engine, and a method of manufacturing the same, with which it is possible for a honeycomb carrier to be held securely within a case member using a low-cost, simple structure. The exhaust gas purifying device is provided with: a columnar honeycomb carrier 11 in which a plurality of cells which extend from an exhaust gas inflow side to an outflow side, and which serve as exhaust gas flow paths, are demarcated and famed by means of porous separating walls; a three-way catalyst supported in the honeycomb carrier 11; and a cylindrical case member 12 in which the honeycomb carrier 11 is housed, with the interposition of a retaining member 13. The honeycomb carrier 11 is provided with outer circumferential plugging portions 111a and 111b formed in such a way as to plug, to a prescribed depth, openings Ca and Cb of cells in an outer circumferential portion P of at least one end surface of the two end surfaces, in the central axis X-direction, of the honeycomb carrier 11; and inclined portions 112a and 112b formed in a direction whereby the length, in the central axis X-direction, of the outer circumferential plugging portions 111a and 111b decreases toward the outer circumferential edge. Further, the inclined portions 112a and 112b catch on the inner walls of the case member 12, with the interposition of the retaining member 13, thereby retaining the honeycomb carrier 11 in the case member 12.
AIR CLEANER
An air cleaner is provided that may include a main body having at least one cylindrical filter and at least one filter frame that forms a mounting space for the at least one filter, and a cylindrical case coupled to an outside of the main body, the cylindrical case having at least one suction inlet through which air is suctioned toward the at least one filter, so that air may be suctioned in 360-degree directions. If the cylindrical case is opened, the at least one filter may be extracted to the outside in a radial direction from the mounting space, thereby facilitating attachment/detachment of the at least one filter.
PERIODIC RADIAL SYMMETRY FOR FILTER PLEATING
A cylindrical filter element having a central longitudinal axis and filter media including a plurality of radially extending pleats arranged in a pattern that repeats around the central longitudinal axis. Each of the pleats comprises an inner pleat tip, wherein the inner pleat tips of each pattern define an open area that extends along a height of the filter element, and wherein each pattern of pleats comprises a first series of intermediate pleats that descends in length from a major pleat to a minor pleat and a second series of intermediate pleats that ascends in length from the minor pleat to a major pleat of an adjacent pattern of pleats.
AIR FILTER AND AIR PURIFIER COMPRISING SAME
An air purifier has an air filter including: a filter member including a plurality of filtration regions each having a plurality of vertical pleats extending in an up-down direction and side surfaces connected to be rotatable with respect to each other; and a frame having a plurality of supports for supporting the plurality of filtration regions. Each of the plurality of supports includes a groove having a shape corresponding to any one of an upper edge and a lower edge of each of the filtration regions. Each of the filtration regions is supported by the supports by at least a part of the upper edge or the lower edge being inserted into the groove.
Filter element having inner support and methods
A filter element includes a construction of pleated filter media defining an interior volume. First and second opposite end caps are secured to opposite ends of the filter media. A support structure supports the filter media and is operably oriented in the interior volume. The support structure extends from the first opposing interior face to the second opposing interior face. The support structure is provided to extend less than a full extension between the first end cap and second end cap.
Secondary Filter Element and Filter System
A secondary filter element for a filter system for filtering a gaseous fluid, in particular for a self-cleaning intake air filter system of a motor, has a filter medium which in the intended operation is flowed through by the fluid from an intended inflow side to an intended outflow side. The secondary filter element has a support element covering the filter medium at the intended inflow side. A filter system with such a secondary filter element is provided.
PASSIVE INLINE ANNULAR PHASE SEPARATOR
A phase separator includes an inlet of an inlet duct to receive two-phase flow from a two-phase flow source that is in line with the inlet duct. The two-phase flow includes gas and liquid. The phase separator also includes a liquid permeable membrane arranged at an outlet of the inlet duct to pass the liquid for capture while diverting the gas to result in an annular flow of the gas around the liquid permeable membrane. An outlet of an outlet duct outputs the gas that is separated from the liquid and that results in the annular flow of the gas.
Filter System and Filter Element
A filter system has a filter housing with a fluid inlet for inflow of a fluid into the filter housing. A filter element is removably received in the filter housing. The filter element has a folded filter medium and a stabilization ring attached to the filter medium and stabilizing the filter medium. The stabilization ring is arranged on the filter medium such that the stabilization ring, at least in sections, is arranged within an inflow cross section of the fluid inlet. The fluid directly flows against the filter medium in operation of the filter system.
FILTER ELEMENT
A filter element includes a frame having an outlet panel and two side panels defining a U-shape. A U-shaped media anchor channel extends along the distal side edge of each panel. Each media anchor channel can have a snap-tab or other locking feature. The element encloses a pleated panel filter media pack having a side edge along each side of the pack. Each side edge of the media pack is located in a media anchor channel, and a bead of adhesive is applied along the channel. A pair of seal bars, each having a u-shape and a snap-tab or other feature that cooperates with the u-shape and the snap-tab of each media anchor channel, is pressed into each channel. Each seal bar mechanically retains a respective media side edge in the channel and together with the adhesive, provides a consistent, robust seal between the media and the frame.
