Corona disinfecting air filter systems
The present disclosure relates generally to air filtration devices. More specifically, but not exclusively, the present disclosure relates to an air filtration device comprised of a copper (or copper alloy) medium to inactivate airborne pathogens (e.g., viruses, bacteria, coronaviruses, COVID-19, etc.) and mitigate harmful exposure to said pathogens. The copper medium is a porous mesh (i.e., copper wool) that is positioned within or on a structure to provide support. The air filtration device may be positioned in an HVAC system such that an air stream flows through the copper medium to inactivate airborne pathogens, such as viruses, in the air stream. The air filtration device may be used in combination with, or in addition to, existing HVAC system conventional air filters (e.g., HEPA filters). The air filtration device includes a copper medium positioned on a face mask to inactivate airborne pathogens during respiratory processes.
PLEATED FILTRATION ASSEMBLY COMPRISING SPUNBONDED PREFILTER
A pleated multilayer air filter assembly including a primary filtration layer and a prefilter layer that are bonded to each other and are co-pleated with each other. The primary filtration layer includes meltblown electret fibers. The prefilter layer includes meltspun, spunbonded electret fibers that comprise a radially outer surface comprising polymethylpentene. The ratio of Effective Fiber Diameter of the fibers of the primary filtration layer to Effective Fiber Diameter of the fibers of the primary filtration layer is at least 1.5.

A rapidly deployable, pressure sealed, cough and sneeze aerosol, containment apparatus and a system to virtually eradicate the cold, the flu, and Covid-19. A face mask having a rigid first section configured to hold a filter and a pliable second section configured to fit on a person's face; a face mask seal formed on an edge of the pliable second section of the face mask; a curved surface on the face mask seal configured to fold inward to form a seal on the person's face when pressed on the person's face.
Filter Element Assembly
A filter element assembly (10) is disclosed comprising: a filter element (11) for location in a housing (12) of a filter (14), comprising a wall (15) of a filtration medium which defines a hollow space (16), for a gas stream to flow from the space through the wall, the filtration medium including a filtration layer (18), and a drainage layer (20) located outside the filtration layer, first (22) and second (24) end caps at opposite ends of the wall, one including a port (26) for a gas stream which communicates with the space; and a drainage promoter (56) comprising a fin (58) which can be fitted to the filter element so that it extends at least part way along the element, and compresses the drainage layer along at least part of its length, to promote drainage of liquid which has collected in the drainage layer.
Coalescence separator, in particular for use in a crankcase ventilation system, crankcase ventilation system and use of coalescence separator
A coalescence separator for separating liquid droplets from a gas flow has a gas inlet and a gas outlet. A multi-layer structure of a plurality of individual layers of a coalescence filter medium is arranged between the gas inlet and the gas outlet, wherein the coalescence filter medium is provided with a glass fiber paper with glass fibers. The individual layers of the coalescence filter medium each have an individual layer thickness of more than 0.8 mm and maximally 5 mm, a grammage of greater than 80 g/m.sup.2 and less than 500 g/m.sup.2, and an air permeability of 350 l/m.sup.2s to 1,800 l/m.sup.2s. The multi-layer structure has between 2 and 80 of the individual layers.
FILTER HOLDING DEVICE, DEVELOPING DEVICE, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A filter holding device includes an opening portion and a filter. The opening portion communicates between an inside and an outside of the filter holding device. The filter is disposed in the opening portion and includes a first side and a second side. The first side is located adjacent to the inside of the filter holding device. The second side is located adjacent to the outside of the filter holding device. The filter has a larger weight density per unit volume at the second side than a weight density per unit volume at the first side and has a larger area of a surface intersecting a communication direction at the second side than an area of a surface intersecting the communication direction at the first side.
Filter medium and breather filter structure
Thermoplastic bicomponent binder fiber can be combined with other media, fibers and other filtration components to form a thermally bonded filtration media. The filtration media can be used in filter units, such as breather caps. Such filter units can be placed in the stream of a mobile fluid and can remove a particulate and/or fluid mist load from the mobile stream. The unique combination of media fiber, bicomponent binder fiber and other filtration additives and components provide a filtration media having unique properties in filtration applications.
