LIQUID FILTRATION DEVICE COMPRISING AN ULTRASOUND EMISSION MODULE
A device for filtering liquids, including a filtration module and an ultrasound emission module, where the ultrasound emission module is fixed distant from the filtration module using a fixing means, and the ultrasound emission module is equipped coaxially along its axis with a weight or is equipped perpendicular to its axis with at least one weight, the filtration module and the ultrasound module equipped with its at least one weight going into resonance via the fixing means when the ultrasound emission module emits ultrasound.
Biosensor
The present invention relates to a biosensor, including: a blood cell separation membrane which separates blood cells from blood and allows plasma components to pass through; a microfluid channel through which the plasma components that have passed through the blood cell separation membrane flow; a lower substrate which allows the plasma components that have passed through the blood cell separation membrane to flow along the microfluid channel; and a pillar which connects the blood cell separation membrane and the lower substrate, in which an electrode is disposed in the pillar, and the pillar pushes and lifts the blood cell separation membrane by a predetermined distance. The biosensor of the present invention allows plasma, which is difficult to pass through the blood cell separation membrane due to surface tension, to easily pass through.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IN SITU PRODUCT RECOVERY
A method of obtaining a compound may include adding a substrate to a medium in a reactor, and reacting the substrate in the reactor to form the compound. A first stream is separated from the reaction liquid through a first membrane. A second stream is separated from the reaction liquid through a second membrane. The first membrane is a filtration membrane and the second membrane is configured for liquid-gas or liquid-liquid extraction The first membrane and the second membrane are at least partially immersed in the medium and are moved relative to the reactor during the separation steps.

SEPARATION MEMBRANE MODULE AND REPAIRING METHOD THEREOF
An object of the present invention is to provide a separation membrane module in which an end member is prevented from coming out even at the occurrence of a reverse pressure or the like. The invention relates to a separation membrane module which is equipped with a cylinder-shaped housing and a tubular separation membrane and which takes out a fluid which has permeated the tubular separation membrane. An end pipe is connected to one end portion of the tubular separation membrane; the end pipe is supported by a support plate which is disposed so as to traverse the housing; and an end plug is connected to the other end portion of the tubular separation membrane. The separation membrane module is further equipped with a coming-out preventive member.
Manufacturing Method for Polynuclear Iron Compounds Stabilized by Carbohydrates and/or Humic Acid
The invention relates to a new method of preparation of a polynuclear iron compound stabilized by carbohydrates and/or humic acid or forming a complex with carbohydrates and/or humic acid using a pressure-driven filtration process.
FILTRATION APPARATUS AND FILTRATION SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed are a slidable filtration apparatus capable of performing reciprocating motion in a filtration tank and a filtration system including the same. The filtration apparatus includes a frame and a membrane module installed in the frame, wherein the frame includes at least two horizontal linear motion members provided at an upper portion thereof.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING AND RECOVERING GAS FIELD CHEMICALS FROM WASTEWATER
Described is a method for concentration and extraction of gas field chemicals. The method includes collecting produced water from a gas oil separation plant, treating the produced water to remove oil, and receiving a feed solution containing a gas field chemical and water. The treated produced water is used as a draw solution to concentrate and absorb water from the feed solution using a forward osmosis chamber. A concentrated feed solution containing the gas field chemical and a diluted draw solution is produced. The concentrated feed solution is extracted and stored for injection into gas wells.
Vibrating filter-plate assembly device
A vibrating device for a filter-plate assembly for liquid filtration having a vessel housing for the filter-plate assembly and one or more flexible volume chambers being filled with gas. The volume chambers are adapted to expand and/or compress the volumes of the chambers inside the vessel housing allowing the liquid in the vessel chamber to move relative to the surface of the filter-plates when the vessel housing including the filter-plate assembly is subjected to a vibrating motion.
HOLLOW FIBER FILTRATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The present disclosure provides apparatuses and methods that integrate sensors into bioprocessing systems and, advantageously, do not require significant re-engineering of these systems. The disclosure describes an assembly for alternating tangential flow filtration. The assembly also includes a sensor inserted into the first hemisphere of the pump housing via the port. In various embodiments, the port comprises a tri-clover connector, and the sensor is optionally inserted into the port through a plug sized to substantially occlude the port and to place the sensor in contact with a fluid in the pump housing.
