Water treatment membrane washing apparatus and water treatment membrane washing method
A water treatment membrane washing apparatus includes two ozone dissolving tanks for storing filtrate generated by filtering raw water through a water treatment membrane and gas aspirators provided for the respective ozone dissolving tanks, for mixing the filtrate with ozone gas supplied from an ozone supply unit to generate ozone gas containing filtrate, and is configured such that waste ozone gas generated in one of the ozone dissolving tanks is aspirated by the gas aspirator provided for the other ozone dissolving tank. After the filtrate from the raw water is pretreated by being mixed with the waste ozone gas in the aspirator, the pretreated filtrate is mixed with the ozone gas in the other ozone dissolving tank until it reaches a predetermined concentration. The ozone gas containing filtrate is supplied from the secondary side of the water treatment membrane to the primary side thereof to wash the eater treatment membrane.
PORTABLE LIQUID-FILTRATION DEVICE
A portable liquid-filtration device includes an inlet port, a filtering portion including a filtering medium and fluidly coupled to the inlet port, a filtered-liquid output port fluidly coupled to the filtering portion, a flush port fluidly coupled to the filtering portion, and a manually activated pump assembly fluidly coupled to the inlet port, filtering portion, output port and flush port. The pump assembly is configured, when activated, to create a negative fluid pressure at the inlet port and a positive fluid pressure at the output port and the flush port. As a consequence of activation of the pump assembly, the filtering portion receives unfiltered liquid from the inlet port, the output port receives from the filtering portion only liquid traversing the filtering medium in a first direction, and the flush port receives from the filtering portion liquid traversing the filtering medium in a second direction different from the first direction.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A FILTER SYSTEM
A variable pore size filter media including an upper plate, a retainer, and a support profile disposed between the upper plate and the retainer. The variable pore size filter media also includes a plurality of wire rings disposed on the support profile and longitudinally distributed within a region between the upper plate and the retainer, the plurality of wire rings being distributed in a non-contiguous manner to form a plurality of spaces therebetween. The variable pore size filter media further includes a plurality of pores defined by the plurality of spaces between the plurality of wire rings and a pore size adjustment mechanism configured to vary a respective distance between each of the plurality of wire rings to increase or decrease a respective size of each of the plurality of pores by increasing or decreasing a size of each of the plurality of spaces.
Cleaning method of a water-filtration system under operation
The present invention is a filtration system and a method for cleaning a filtration system. The filtration system comprising a hydraulic circuit Cp recycling the permeate stream to the feed side of the membrane and/or a hydraulic circuit Cr recycling the retentate stream to the feed side of said membrane. The method injects an amount of a chemical product into the filtration system in the hydraulic circuit Cp or in the hydraulic circuit Cr or upstream of the cross-flow filtration membrane, setting the proportion of recycled permeate stream or recycled retentate stream collected in the hydraulic circuit Cp and/or Cr to enable the recycling of a significant amount of unreacted chemical product having passed through the cross-flow filtration membrane to the feed side of said cross-flow filtration membrane.
System and method for a filter system
A filter for use in filtering a fluid slurry that includes particles of varying size, such as pool water including debris, is provided. The filter is in electrical communication with a sensor and includes a housing having an inlet to receive the fluid slurry, an outlet, and an internal chamber. An actuator can be coupled to the filter media to move at least a portion of the filter media to vary a dimension of the pores. The filter also includes a controller connected to the actuator that is capable of receiving a signal from the sensor and controls the actuator to change the dimension of the pores based on the signal.
