Filter device
A filter device may include a filter housing and a filter element defining a longitudinal axis disposed in the filter housing. The filter element may be configured to be penetrated by a fluid flow in a radial direction from a raw end to a pure end of the filter element. A water separator may be disposed at the pure end of the filter element and arranged axially spaced from the same. The water separator may have a hydrophobic and annular diaphragm extending in an axial direction of the filter element configured to be penetrated by the fluid flow from a raw end of the water separator in a radially outward to a radially inward direction with respect to the longitudinal axis to separate water from the fluid flow.
Receiver dryer, method of manufacturing receiver dryer and air-conditioning system
A receiver dryer includes a first body and a second body, one end of the second body away from the first body defining first and second connecting ports. The receiver dryer includes a filter cartridge including a first mating portion, a second mating portion, and a filter part at a middle portion; the first mating portion fits with an inner wall of the second body, one space allowing refrigerant to flow is formed between the filter part and the inner wall of the second body, the second mating portion is connected to the second connecting port, the space between the filter part and the inner wall of the second body communicates with the first connecting port, an inside of the filter part communicates with the second connecting port via the second mating portion, and refrigerant is filtered at least once when flowing between the first and second connecting ports.
LIQUID FILTER
A fuel filter device for operation in a position under non-extreme conditions, when there is enough time for replacement of the clogged filter element, or in a reverse position in a fuel bypassing state for non-stop operation under extreme conditions, when there is no time for replacement of the clogged filter element. The device consists of cup-shaped members, which are interconnected through a threaded connection and form a cavity that contains a spring compressed between the bottom of an opening of one of the cup-shaped members and an abutment formed between two openings of another cup-shaped member. The compression force of the spring is applied to a seal ring placed into an annular groove formed in the abutment surface through a flange of the filter element. Another improved sealing feature is provided by a second seal ring, which seals the threaded connection, when the connection is tightened.
WATER FILTER
A water filter cartridge is provided. The water filter cartridge includes a filter housing enclosing a filtration material therein. The filtration material includes a first cavity generally surrounded by the filtration material and a second cavity formed between an interior of the housing and an exterior of the filtration material.
Refrigerator drawer with cassette filter
A crisper drawer for a refrigerator having a refrigerated compartment is disclosed. The crisper drawer includes a plurality of side walls defining a storage chamber, an opening in a side wall to provide fluid communication between the storage chamber and the refrigerated compartment, and a multi-function filter cassette configured to be positioned within the opening. The multi-function filter cassette includes a first filter configured to remove contaminants from a first air flow within the refrigerated compartment, a second filter configured to remove contaminants and/or moisture from a second air flow within the storage chamber, and a central wall configured to prevent fluid communication between the refrigerated compartment and the storage chamber.
Cartridge for water treatment for a device for water treatment, a head of a device for water treatment and a device for water treatment comprising such a cartridge and such a head
A water-treatment cartridge (3) for a water-treatment device, wherein the water-treatment device comprises a head with a port for feeding water for treatment to the cartridge and a port for discharging water from the cartridge (3) after treatment. The water-treatment cartridge (3) according to the invention comprises an inlet channel for feeding water for treatment to the cartridge (3) for making a fluid communication with the port of the head for feeding water for treatment to the water-treatment cartridge (3), and an outlet channel for discharging water after treatment from the water- treatment cartridge (3) for making a fluid communication with the port for discharging water after treatment from the water-treatment cartridge (3), at least one water-treatment bed, which the at least one water-treatment bed is in a fluid communication with the inlet channel for feeding water for treatment and with the outlet channel for discharging water after treatment. The water-treatment cartridge (3) is characterized in that it comprises orientating means (10) configured to make a flow of water for treatment from the port of the head for feeding water for treatment with the inlet channel, when the water-treatment cartridge (3) is installed in the head of the water-treatment device. The invention also relates to a head of a water- treatment device for use with a water-treatment cartridge (3). In addition, the invention relates to a water-treatment device comprising a head and a water-treatment cartridge (3).
FILTER AND METHOD FOR FILTERING A LIQUID
An oil filter assembly is disclosed for a machine, such as an internal combustion engine, that has an oil output port and an oil input port. A mounting plate is fixed with an outer enclosure. The mounting plate is further adapted to conduct oil from the machine into a peripheral portion of the outer enclosure, and then returning oil from a central portion of the outer enclosure back to the machine. Oil may pass from the peripheral portion to the central portion through a primary filter having a first porosity. A pressure-actuated valve is fixed fluidly between the portions of the outer enclosure.
Filter element with torsion lock and/or sliding piston, assembly and methods
A filtration assembly is provided that comprises a filter cartridge and a filter head, that has particular application for liquid filtration, such as engine fuel filtration in an embodiment. The filter cartridge can include a thread and a torsion lock detent to provide twist and lock mounting to the filter head. Separately, the filter cartridge can include a slidable piston that can become pressurized by application of liquid pressure during operation that can apply an axial force to the filter head to load the thread and increase threaded attachment rigidity and/or the natural frequency of the filter cartridge to a more desirable level, and thereby limit vibrational impacts.
Filter systems and related methods
Filter systems disclosed herein collapse for storage purposes and include mechanisms to continuously fill an upper chamber, allowing it to be smaller and to include more filters. A UVC light in a lower chamber sanitizes water entering therein. Water entering the lower chamber may pass through a quartz tube near the UVC light for sufficient exposure. The UVC light may be cycled between shorter periods of higher intensity and longer periods of lower intensity. A low power source such as a small solar array and/or battery may power the UVC light. A proximity switch may control the UVC light by providing power to the light only when the upper chamber is engaged with the lower chamber which may protect the user from exposure to the UVC light. Sealing mechanisms between the upper and lower chambers, as well as tote mechanisms and an alternative bucket filter system are disclosed.
