Bypass and full flow combination filter
The present invention relates to a filter for filtration of oil and/or fuel comprising a combination of a bypass filter portion and a full flow filter portion. The present invention also relates to a method of using the filter for filtration of oil and/or fuel to remove the water/moisture and particulate contaminants therein.
Fuel filter with coalescer
A filter element, for use filtering liquids such as fuel, includes a first section of filter media, an optional layer of coalescer media, and a section of barrier media. The first section and optional coalescer filter media are held between opposite first and second end caps. The second end cap is integrated with the barrier filter media. The barrier media extends at least part way into an interior of the first section and can be conical in shape.
Quick oil change filter and assembly
A filtration system includes a filter housing and a filter cartridge. The filter housing includes a base and a cover removably coupled to the base. The cover includes a retainer. The filter cartridge has a longitudinal axis and is movable between an installed position within the filter housing and an uninstalled position outside the filter housing. The filter cartridge includes a top endplate including at least one protrusion extending upwardly away from the top endplate. The protrusion includes a tab extending radially outward from the protrusion that is structured to interact with the retainer to removably couple the filter cartridge to the cover. The filter cartridge further includes a bottom endplate and a filter media extending axially between the top endplate and the bottom endplate.
FILTRATION SYSTEM
The present application shows a filtration system comprising a plurality of filters, in particular oil or fuel filters, a first operating element movable from a default position to a least one isolating position for isolating at one filter of a first group of filters from the filtration system and a second operating element movable from a default position to a least one isolating position for isolating at least one filter of a second group of filters from the filtration system. The filtration system comprises a mechanical blocking mechanism that is actuated by a movement of the first operating element out of its default position to block the second operating element in its default position and actuated by a movement of the second operating element out of its default position to block the first operating element in its default position.
Multi-stage filter assembly
In one aspect, a modular filter assembly for filtering fluid that flows in a flow direction therethrough is disclosed. The assembly includes a first housing section having a first filter element; a second housing section having a second filter element; and a connector disposed between the first and second housing sections. A housing includes the first housing section, the connector, and the second housing section. The flow direction is through the first and second filter elements in series.
Filter device
A filter device may include a filter housing and a filter element defining a longitudinal axis disposed in the filter housing. The filter element may be configured to be penetrated by a fluid flow in a radial direction from a raw end to a pure end of the filter element. A water separator may be disposed at the pure end of the filter element and arranged axially spaced from the same. The water separator may have a hydrophobic and annular diaphragm extending in an axial direction of the filter element configured to be penetrated by the fluid flow from a raw end of the water separator in a radially outward to a radially inward direction with respect to the longitudinal axis to separate water from the fluid flow.

Fuel system having pumping and filtration fuel module and flow housing for same
A fuel module for pumping and filtration of a fuel in a fuel system includes a flow housing, and each of an electrically powered pump, a first cartridge filter, and a second cartridge filter in sealed, direct engagement with the flow housing. The fuel module is applied in a low pressure fuel circuit feeding fuel to a high pressure fuel circuit for pressurization to an injection pressure. Electronic closed loop control techniques for the pump are also disclosed.

QUICK OIL CHANGE FILTER AND ASSEMBLY
A filtration system includes a filter housing having a cavity and a base, a drain defined in the base, a channel defined in the base and in fluid communication with the drain, and a filter cartridge having a longitudinal axis and being movable between an installed position within the cavity of the filter housing and an uninstalled position outside the cavity of the filter housing. The channel defines an outer diameter. The filter cartridge includes a bottom endplate defining an outer diameter that is greater than the outer diameter of the channel so that, in the installed position, the bottom endplate covers the channel and prevents fluid flow from the cavity to the drain, and a filter media extending axially outwardly from the bottom endplate.
