TWO-PIECE OIL FILTER ASSEMBLY FOR PUMPS
Technologies are generally described for a two-piece filter assembly for centrifugal pump assemblies. A filter portion optionally made from recyclable material may receive contaminated oil from the oil path, through the filter, and provide the filtered oil back to the sump. The filtered oil is then reclaimed by the oil ring from the sump to lubricate the bearings. The filter portion may be removable from the plug portion and the plug portion may be placed back onto the pump assembly with a new filter portion. In some examples, moisture absorbing beads are placed inside the filter portion to remove moisture from the filtered oil.

The water filter cartridge body in a hollow cylinder form with a central hollow space, one end of the water filter cartridge body is coupled with the water filter cartridge outlet cap so that communicating with the water filter cartridge outlet, and the another end of the water filter cartridge body is coupled with the water filter cartridge sealing cap. The water filter cartridge outlet in a hollow cylinder form protruding from one surface of the water filter cartridge outlet cap. The filter container for containing the water filter cartridge therein, wherein the filter container including a filter container body, a filter container cap, a filter container inlet, and a filter container outlet, wherein the filter container inlet and the filter container outlet arranged at a filter container body bottom. The filter container body having a filter container outlet cylinder hole provided at the filter container body bottom for receiving the water filter cartridge outlet, so that when water flows into the filter container through the filter container inlet will surround the water filter cartridge and flows through the water filter cartridge body into the central hollow space of the water filter cartridge body, and flows to the filter container outlet through the water filter cartridge outlet. The filter container body having ribs provided at an inner surface of the filter container body bottom to reinforce for the filter container body bottom and providing gaps placed between the inner surface of the filter container body bottom and the outer surface of the water filter cartridge outlet cap, so that replacements or miscellaneous uses of the water filter cartridges become impossible.
PERIODIC RADIAL SYMMETRY FOR FILTER PLEATING
A cylindrical filter element having a central longitudinal axis and filter media including a plurality of radially extending pleats arranged in a pattern that repeats around the central longitudinal axis. Each of the pleats comprises an inner pleat tip, wherein the inner pleat tips of each pattern define an open area that extends along a height of the filter element, and wherein each pattern of pleats comprises a first series of intermediate pleats that descends in length from a major pleat to a minor pleat and a second series of intermediate pleats that ascends in length from the minor pleat to a major pleat of an adjacent pattern of pleats.
ALIGNMENT NOTCH FOR AN ENDCAP OF A FILTER ELEMENT
A filtration system comprises a housing having a first housing end and a second housing end. The housing defines a central compartment therein. The housing includes an alignment tab disposed on the second housing end. The alignment tab protrudes from the second housing end towards the first housing end. A filter element is positioned within the housing. The filter element includes a first endcap, a second endcap, and filter media positioned between and extending axially between the first endcap and the second endcap. The filter media defines a central opening extending axially therein. An alignment notch is disposed on the second endcap, the alignment notch protruding from the second endcap toward the first endcap.
Water filter
A filter arrangement includes: a chamber including a chamber inlet for unfiltered liquid, a chamber outlet for filtered liquid and a wall arranged to keep the unfiltered liquid and the filtered liquid separated, a filter element having a longitudinal extension arranged inside of the chamber, wherein the filter element includes a semi-permeable filtration wall including a folded filter arranged in a zig-zag configuration between an inner perforated cylinder and an outer perforated cylinder and an internally located back-washing arrangement. The back-washing arrangement includes: an elongated and hollow body having a longitudinal extension, which is substantially parallel to the longitudinal extension of the filter element, a mechanism configured to drive the body in a rotational and/or an axial movement, a plurality of nozzles arranged in fluid communication with a cavity inside of the body, the plurality of nozzles projecting laterally from the body such that a distal end of each of the plurality of nozzles is arranged in close proximity to the inner perforated cylinder and an outlet arranged in fluid communication with the cavity of the elongated and hollow body and wherein the plurality of nozzles are arranged parallel to each other along a straight line on the body such that they all project in the same direction.
SEPTIC TANK FILTER SYSTEM
A septic tank filter system includes a tank. The tank includes an inlet and an outlet, wherein the outlet is disposed on the tank below the inlet to enable a flow of wastewater to be gravity fed from the inlet to the outlet. A filter is positioned in the tank. The filter includes a frame. A filter media is disposed on the frame. The filter media is operable to filter the wastewater of waste material as the wastewater passes therethrough. A top opening is disposed on a top portion of the frame. A bottom of the top opening is located above the tank outlet and below the tank inlet. When the filter media is not clogged, a level of the wastewater remains below the top opening. When the filter media is clogged, the level of the wastewater rises until the wastewater flows over the top opening.
FILTER ELEMENT WITH INTEGRATED DRAIN FILTER
The technology disclosed herein relates to, in part, a filter assembly having a primary media assembly and a secondary media assembly in fluid communication with the primary media assembly. A filter assembly outlet is downstream of the secondary media assembly. A filtration pathway extends through the primary media assembly, the secondary media assembly, and the filter assembly outlet. A drain pathway extends through the secondary media assembly and the filter assembly outlet, wherein the drain pathway circumvents the primary media assembly.
Filter cartridge for liquid filtration; assembly; and, methods
A liquid filter cartridge is provided. Preferred seal arrangements are provided, to provide for preferred axial load conditions, with respect to one or more of the end caps of the cartridge. Some cartridge configurations provided include no core structure or outer liner structure therein, to support axial load. Assemblies using the cartridge, and methods of assembly and use, are provided. The liquid filter cartridge can be a serviceable cartridge, or it can be retained permanently in a housing.
Quick oil change filter and assembly
A filtration system includes a filter housing and a filter cartridge. The filter housing includes a base and a cover removably coupled to the base. The cover includes a retainer.
