SYSTEM FOR FILTERING FLUIDS
Disclosed is a system for filtering fluids comprising a primary filter (2) having at least one filter element that can be penetrated in one direction during the filtration process and can he penetrated in the opposite direction for a backflushing process, further comprising an aftertreatment device (36) which is mounted downstream of the priniaty filter (2) in order for the backflushed quantities discharged by the primary filter to be processed and which includes at least one filter chamber (11) that holds the backflushed quantities and has a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet and at least one aftertreatment filter element (19), and comprising a control device (9) for delivering one portion of the backflushed quantity at a time to the associated aftertreatment filter element (19).

Rag seeding in wastewater treatment systems
In a wastewater treatment plant a rag seeding tank is included in a process drain to collect hair and fibers which have passed through headworks of the plant. The hair and fibers tend to join together into large masses downstream of the headworks and can be damaging to process zones, particularly membrane zones. The rag seeding tank includes cartridges filled with surfaces that fibers and hair will attach to, so that hair/fiber rags grow in the seeding tank and are removed therefrom rather than causing problems downstream.

Water separation unit
A water separation group is for a fuel filtration and separation assembly of a vehicle fuel circulation system. The assembly extends along a longitudinal axis positionable in the vehicle in a horizontal position having a filtration group. The water separation assembly is associable to the filtration group for receiving filtered fuel, being positioned in series along the longitudinal axis. The water separation assembly has a main body defining a separation chamber and at an axial end, an outlet wall with an outlet mouth. A separator is accommodated in the separation chamber. A blocking device is below the separator to prevent the return of water to the separator. The blocking device has a blocking surface extending longitudinally forming an angle that inclines at least a portion of the blocking surface to allow water separated from the fuel to flow towards the outlet wall from which the blocking surface extends.

MODULAR APPARATUS FOR COLLECTING CANNABIS TRICHOMES
A modular apparatus and device for collecting cannabis trichomes includes a collection base that can receive either a standard filter adapter or a nested array of filter baskets on the top thereof. A riser adapter may be located between the collection base and the standard sieve/filter adapter or between the collection base and a nested array of filter baskets. The components are secured using a mounting tab and fastener configuration for ease of installation and disassembly. A vibrator may also be secured to the collection base. The locking tabs of each of the nested array of baskets are configured to have a length so tabs that are vertically stacked over each other co-terminate with each other so they can be secured to a riser adapter or collection base using a single fastener.
