Rag seeding in wastewater treatment systems
11707704 · 2023-07-25 · ·

In a wastewater treatment plant a rag seeding tank is included in a process drain to collect hair and fibers which have passed through headworks of the plant. The hair and fibers tend to join together into large masses downstream of the headworks and can be damaging to process zones, particularly membrane zones. The rag seeding tank includes cartridges filled with surfaces that fibers and hair will attach to, so that hair/fiber rags grow in the seeding tank and are removed therefrom rather than causing problems downstream.

DEVICE FOR SUPPLYING INJECTION WATER

A device for supplying injection water capable of stably supplying the water to a water injection system of a vehicle. The device for supplying injection water includes a storage unit configured to store water, a management unit mounted on the storage unit and configured to detect a state of the water stored in the storage unit and manage the water, a transport unit connected to the storage unit through the management unit and configured to outwardly move the water, and an integrated controller configured to control operations of the management unit and the storage unit.

20230211265 · 2023-07-06 · ·

Embodiments of a fluid filtration system constructed in accordance with principles of the present disclosure can be used to automatically condition the single use filter for efficient use thereof. For example, in embodiments, the fluid filtration system can include a filter conditioning program containing at least one of a filter priming module, a filter flushing module, and a filter pressurizing module.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING THE WATER LEVEL IN GROUND
20220341102 · 2022-10-27 ·

A method of controlling the water level in ground in which drainage pipes have been laid, said method comprising: a) providing the ground with water passing through the drainage pipes in a natural way and/or by active intervention using a control system, b) creating an underpressure or overpressure of water and/or air in the drainage pipes by means of the control system, thereby causing water or air to be extracted from or supplied to the soil via the drainage pipes, and c) programming the programmable control system in such a manner that the control system determines the points in time, durations, volumes and/or order of the water supply to the drainage pipes and of the generation of an underpressure or overpressure of water and/or air.

PRE-WET SYSTEM HAVING PNEUMATIC CIRCULATION
20230090558 · 2023-03-23 ·

In some embodiments, a system for pre-wetting a filter includes a filter, a piping system, a first gas, a second gas, a first buffer tank, and a second buffer tank. The first gas drives the solvent to clean the filter. The two buffer tanks store the solvent discharged from the filter. The second gas selectively drives the solvent in the first buffer tank to return to the filter and then to be discharged into the second buffer tank. Alternatively, the second gas selectively drives the solvent in the second buffer tank to return to the filter and then to be discharged into the first buffer tank.

BIOLOGICAL FILTRATION SYSTEMS AND CONTROLLING METHODS THEREOF
20230131609 · 2023-04-27 · ·

The embodiments of the disclosure provide a biological filtration system and a controlling method for the biological filtration system. The biological filtration system for filtering a solution in a bioreactor, comprises: a filter device having a top end and a bottom end, one of the top end and the bottom end being in fluid communication with the bioreactor for filtering the solution in the bioreactor; a liquid chamber in fluid communication with the other one of the top end and the bottom end for storing a solution in the filter device; a positive pressure pump, in fluid communication with the liquid chamber, for driving a solution to flow from the liquid chamber to the bioreactor; and a negative pressure pump, in fluid communication with the liquid chamber, for driving a solution to flow from the bioreactor to the liquid chamber.

Particle separation system and method

A method including the steps of moving fluid through an inlet into a vessel, the vessel being at atmospheric pressure and having at least one side wall and a bottom wall forming an internal chamber within the vessel. The method further includes moving the fluid into and through a filtration unit utilizing a downstream pump, the filtration unit creating a flux of less than or equal to about 0.05 gallons per minute per square foot (GPM/ft.sup.2), and moving the fluid processed by the filtration unit to an outlet and out of the vessel.

Filter and method for filtration of hydraulic oil in a return line to a hydraulic tank, and a drilling rig comprising the filter
09776110 · 2017-10-03 · ·

A filter (5) for a return line (L1, L2) for hydraulic oil to a hydraulic tank (2), which filter (5) has a filter element (11). The filter (5) is arranged to filter the hydraulic oil through the filter element (11) when the hydraulic oil is below a first oil level (H1) in the filter (5), and the filter (5) has an arrangement (15) to cause the hydraulic oil to bypass the filter element (11) when the oil level (H) in the filter (5) exceeds the first oil level (H) without causing any significant back pressure.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SCREENING
20220040603 · 2022-02-10 ·

A screening system for solid removal includes a housing and a screen positioned within the housing. A flow inlet is operatively connected to an interior chamber defined by the screen. A sump is downstream from the flow inlet for capturing solids that do not pass through the screen. A flow outlet is downstream from the screen in fluid communication with the flow inlet. A moveable cleaning assembly may be positioned either within a perimeter of the screen, around the perimeter of the screen or both. The moveable cleaning assembly is moveable with respect to the screen.

AIR CONDITIONER CONDENSATE FILTRATION DEVICE
20220176279 · 2022-06-09 ·

A filtration device is configured to be connected to an existing condensate drain line of a heating, cooling, and ventilation system. The filtration device is configured to collect metal and other debris as the condensate moves through the device and prevents the condensate drain line from getting a clog. When a clog is present or other issues affect a level of condensate to rise in the device and stop from draining properly, the device is configured to shut off the heating, cooling, and ventilation system. Alternatively, the device is configured to provide an alternate pipe for drainage.
