Wastewater treatment system outlet filter cleaner
The present development is a septic tank or wastewater treatment tank outlet filter cleaning device. More specifically, the device is an outlet filter cleaner for a slotted filter used to reduce solid waste transfer into a septic tank effluent. The device comprises a central shaft with at least one cleaning disc, wherein the cleaning disc comprises a body which is mounted on the shaft and wherein a plurality of fingers protrude from the body, preferably in locations substantially identical to the positions of the openings in the wall of the tube.
CONTROL MECHANISM FOR SELF-CLEANING FILTRATION SYSTEMS
A control mechanism for self-cleaning filtration systems. One embodiment is a controller for a filtration system that comprises a suction scanner and a screening element having modifiable respective locations therebetween. The controller comprises an input terminal for receiving a relative location signal and additional a differential pressure input terminal. The controller monitors differential pressure and outputs an activation signal after the differential pressure has exceeded a threshold value. The controller outputs a termination signal based on the relative location signal. Another embodiment is a filtration system that comprises: a screening element located within a filtration chamber, and a suction scanner for self-cleaning thereof. A location tracker communicates to a switching mechanism during self-cleaning sessions a signal indicative of a location of the suction scanner with respect to the screening element. The switching mechanism automatically terminates self-cleaning sessions based on the signal.
Stationary cloth media filtration
The present inventions relate to water and wastewater treatment devices including stationary cloth filter media support structures which support structures also form the effluent plenum for the filtered influent.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SCREENING
A screening system for solid removal includes a housing and a screen positioned within the housing. A flow inlet is operatively connected to an interior chamber defined by the screen. A sump is downstream from the flow inlet for capturing solids that do not pass through the screen. A flow outlet is downstream from the screen in fluid communication with the flow inlet. A moveable cleaning assembly may be positioned either within a perimeter of the screen, around the perimeter of the screen or both. The moveable cleaning assembly is moveable with respect to the screen.
Thin plate apparatus for removing debris from water
A product that is an apparatus for removing debris from water containing such debris using a perforated plate, a backer plate, and a skimmer, positioned adjacent the back of the perforated plate to provide a means of removing debris from the perforated plate without scraping the debris from the perforated plate, the skimmer bar and the backer plate being synchronized in their movement.
AUTONOMOUSLY CONTROLLED SELF-CLEANING FILTER APPARATUS
The present invention relates to fluid filtering apparatuses, for applications such as water filtration, that utilizes screen filters, and in particular, to such a filtering apparatus having autonomously controlled self-cleaning capabilities. A self-cleaning filter apparatus including a filtering housing for filtering a fluid across a screen filter, a flushing chamber for housing filtered debris, and a control assembly for autonomously switching between filtering phases of the filter based on the differential pressure across the filter that is channeled along portions of the control assembly, the control assembly including a flush valve assembly, a three position two way (3/2) valve and a differential pressure (DP) switch.
WORK VEHICLE SPRAYER SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH PINCHING NOZZLE APPARATUS
A nozzle apparatus is configured to distribute a primary fluid. The nozzle apparatus includes a support plate; a fluid manifold; a fluid nozzle element; an actuator gear assembly; and a pincher gear assembly having a first pincher gear and a second pincher gear mounted on the support plate. The actuator gear assembly is configured to drive the pincher gear assembly between a first position in which the first and second pinchers are positioned relative to each other and relative to the fluid nozzle element such that the fluid nozzle element has a first cross-sectional shape and a second position in which the first and second pinchers are positioned relative to each other and relative to the fluid nozzle element such that the fluid nozzle element has a second cross-sectional shape. The first cross-sectional shape is different than the second cross-sectional shape.
WORK VEHICLE SPRAYER SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH SELF-CLEANING FILTER APPARATUS
A self-cleaning filter apparatus includes a filter unit and a plunger unit. The filter unit includes a screen device; and a filter unit housing that houses the screen device. The plunger unit includes a rod end housing coupled to the filter unit housing; a plunger rod with a first plunger rod end positioned within the rod end housing and a second plunger rod end within the filter unit housing; and a plunger assembly secured to the second plunger rod end. During a first filter cleaning event segment, the plunger rod is configured to translate between a nominal position in which the plunger assembly is proximate the first screen device end and a cleaning position in which the plunger assembly is proximate the second screen device end. The plunger rod is configured to dislodge, at least in part, debris from within the screen device during at least the first filter cleaning event segment.
Methods and apparatus for treating water and wastewater employing a cloth filter
A backwash header for a cloth filter includes a body having a length, a diameter, first and second ends, a longitudinal axis, and an exterior surface, the body defining at least one internal cavity. The body includes at least one suction slot sized to allow fluids and solids to enter the internal cavity from outside of the exterior surface. A structure is attached to a portion of the exterior surface of the body around and extending away from the suction slot to form an open-ended chamber defined by the structure and a portion of the exterior surface near the suction slot. The structure allows fluids and solids to enter the open-ended chamber and then the suction slot and cavity from a material being cleaned. Cloth filters and methods of treating water and wastewater using the backwash headers and cloth filters.
