FILTERING PANEL AND DRUM FILTER PROVIDED WITH SUCH PANELS
The present invention relates to a filter panel which is intended to be mounted in a drum filter, the filter panel comprising a peripheral frame to which a filter cloth is fixed, the frame being formed by two longitudinal members which are connected at each end by an end cross-member, characterized in that the filter panel comprises a lattice (R1) of crosspieces which connect the inner edges of the frame to one another, the lattice (R1) of crosspieces forming at least a first closed pattern (54) in the centre of the frame and comprising at least four diagonals which are inclined with respect to the longitudinal members and which extend from the first closed pattern to an inner edge of the frame.
FILTRATION SYSTEM
A filter for filtering liquid, comprising: a cylindrical housing; and a multiplicity of discs positioned perpendicularly to a height of the cylindrical housing, each of the multiplicity of discs comprised of a first number of cassettes, wherein each cassette is shaped as a truncated sector having a wide end and a narrow end, the cassettes arranged such that a perimeter of the disc is formed by the wide end of the first number of cassettes, and wherein each of the first number of cassettes is connected to a housing at its wide end, and each cassette having an opening along the wide end, wherein during filtration, liquid being filtered flows over the multiplicity of discs towards the perimeter of the multiplicity of discs.
SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES EMPLOYING WET/DRY SUCTION FILTER
Water or wastewater filtration systems and processes have a filter tank having a floor and sidewall defining a filtration zone, an influent conduit, and an effluent conduit. One or more filtration members in the tank having filter media, and one or more cleaning members adjacent at least some portions of the filter media. Generating an effluent stream by generating a pressure differential across submerged portions of the filtration media, causing water in the influent to flow from outside to inside the submerged portions of the filter media. A prime mover rotates the filtration members. A blower and chamber for creating a reduced pressure condition in each of the cleaning members when they are non-submerged, the chamber receiving wet solids removed from non-submerged, wet solids-laden portions of the filter media by the non-submerged cleaning members subsequent to submerged, fouled portions of the filter media being rotated out of the filtration zone.
LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION BELT FILTER CLEANING SYSTEM
There is described is a belt cleaning blow-off device having a streamlined inner surface. In one embodiment a fluid outlet nozzle is connectable to a conduit of a blow-off device for cleaning a belt filter. The nozzle comprises a housing having an inner surface and outer surface, wherein the inner surface defines a fluid entry zone to receive fluid into the nozzle and an elongated gap for directing fluid towards the belt. The inner surface is streamlined to facilitate flow of the fluid into the gap. In a second embodiment, the blow-off device comprises a housing connectable to a fluid source and having an inner and outer surface. The housing defines a conduit for transporting the fluid within a channel, wherein the inner surface defines a surface of the channel and an elongated gap for directing the fluid towards the belt. The inner surface is streamlined and typically teardrop-shaped to facilitate flow of the fluid into the gap.
Liquid intake filters
Apparatus and methodologies are provided for pumping fluids from a body of fluids. Herein, an apparatus operably connected to at least one pump for pumping fluids from a body of fluids is provided, the apparatus having a pump hose with a first intake end for receiving the pumped fluids and a second outlet end operably connected to the pump, a pump intake assembly, fluidically connected to the intake end of the pump hose, the pump intake assembly having at least one fluid control valve, a rotatable filter cage, centrally disposed about the pump intake assembly, and at least one fluid injection pipe centrally disposed within the pump hose for supporting the at least one fluid control valve, and for injecting fluids to drive the rotation of the rotatable filter cage. Herein, methods of utilizing the fluid pumping apparatus are provided.
Machine for continuous microfiltration of process and waste water, for reuse thereof in agriculture and industry
A continuous microfiltration machine for removing suspended solid particles from process and waste water comprises a container (2) with an inlet conduit (4) defining a flow direction (F), and having therein an influent chamber (7) for feeding the liquid to be filtered, a treatment chamber (8) with a bottom wall (9), at least one pair of filter disks (10) keyed to a shaft (12) perpendicular to the flow direction (F) and having inner filter surfaces (10′) outer surfaces (10″) and outer peripheral edges (15) in sliding contact with the bottom wall (9), an effluent chamber (17) for receiving the filtered liquid, with a discharge conduit (18), drive means (13, 14) for imparting rotation to the disks, first jet washing means (20) directed against the outer surfaces (10″) of the disks (10) for removing the particles retained thereby, a first collecting duct (24) for collecting the removed particles, which is interposed between the disks (10) and has substantially parallel side edges (25) located at a predetermined minimum distance (D) from the inner surfaces (10′) of the disks (10). The inner surfaces (10′) of the disks are substantially flat and continuous surfaces, with a flatness error (ε) smaller than said predetermined minimum distance (D).
Filtering apparatus and method
A liquid (2), such as wastewater, is filtered using a liquid-permeable filtering element (9) having first and second faces (10, 11) so as to produce filtered liquid (4) having total suspended solids of no more than 10 mg/L. The method comprises cycling the liquid-permeable filtering element through the liquid whereby, in a first position, an area of the first face of the filtering element is subjected to liquid under pressure and a pressure across the filtering element is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 5.9 kPa (60 cmH2O), and, in a second position, the area is not subjected to liquid under pressure or is subjected to liquid at a lower pressure, and solids accumulated on the first face of the filtering element can be removed by directing at least one jet at the second face of the filtering element through the filtering element towards the first face.
ROTARY PRESSURE FILTER MODULE
The invention relates to a rotary pressure filter module (100) which comprises a rotary pressure filter (200) having a plurality of supply lines (302, 318, 330) for supplying a suspension, washing medium, drying medium, and optionally other operating media to be filtered and having a plurality of discharge lines (314, 326, 348) for discharging mother filtrate, washing filtrate, and filter cakes, different sensor devices (306/308/310, 322/324, 334/336, 316, 328, 349) being assigned to the supply lines and the discharge lines, and adjusting devices also being assigned to the supply lines, the rotary pressure filter module (100) additionally comprising a control device (400) which is connected to the sensor devices and the adjusting devices. According to the invention, the decentralised control device (400) assigned to the rotary pressure filter (200) is arranged on the rotary pressure filter (200) or in its immediate vicinity and has a signal input via which it can be brought into data exchange connection with a central control device, which does not belong to the rotary pressure filter module (100), of a higher-level production system.
Backwash suction device of fibrous filter
An incised surface is formed in one surface of a suction plate on the basis of a slit and a pattern roller is placed in a room, which is provided at a thickness part of the slit in which the incised surface is formed, to rotate in place so that the pattern roller partially protrudes outward from the incised surface and forms patterns on a surface of fleeces which are backwashed while passing through the slit so as to increase a filtration area of the fleeces. The backwash may be performed and the filtration area of the fleeces may be increased using the room. The spline-shaped patterns including splines cut to a certain length, patterns including several annular protrusions formed on an outer circumference of the pattern roller, spline-shaped patterns formed on the outer circumference, lattice-shaped patterns, and the like may be formed on a surface of the pattern roller.
Liquid intake filters
Apparatus and methodologies are provided for pumping fluids from a body of fluids. Herein, an apparatus operably connected to at least one pump for pumping fluids from a body of fluids is provided, the apparatus having a pump hose with a first intake end for receiving the pumped fluids and a second outlet end operably connected to the pump, a pump intake assembly, fluidically connected to the intake end of the pump hose, the pump intake assembly having at least one fluid control valve, a rotatable filter cage, centrally disposed about the pump intake assembly, and at least one fluid injection pipe centrally disposed within the pump hose for supporting the at least one fluid control valve, and for injecting fluids to drive the rotation of the rotatable filter cage. Herein, methods of utilizing the fluid pumping apparatus are provided.
