Screen dump station system for disposing of spent drilling mud

A processing system for a slurry material. The system has a vibratory screen disposed atop an open-topped tank. A travel path for a vehicle is disposed directly above the screen and the tank. Slurry material dumped from the vehicle onto the screen is separated at the screen into a particulate-rich stream and a fluid-rich stream. The fluid-rich stream may be pumped to a cleaner so that it may be stored and re-used as drilling fluid. The screen may be a conveyor which removes the particulate-rich stream from above the tank.

Continuous rotary plate filter and methods of use thereof

The present disclosure provides for a continuous rotary plate filter apparatus and a method of using the apparatus to separate slurries into liquids and solids. The methods and apparatus are useful for the production of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals, particularly using Integrated Continuous Manufacturing (ICM), but can also be integrated with other manufacturing processes, such as batch and semi-continuous processes.

Liquid solid separator

A liquid solid separator tank has a motor driven recirculating belt having rollers placed therein processing a mixture of materials. The top belt brings wet materials into a collection trough having overflow weirs disposed externally. These weirs permit overflow liquids to flow down towards a main tank; then, a sump pump reintroduces water back into an influent basin to cleanse the mixture once again. Also, the action of a motor driven auger within the trough forces solids towards a dewatering box attached externally thereto. This box has a motor driven rotating cage mounted on moveable rollers and internally attached removable brushes that act to clean the outer surface of the cage as it moves in addition to a stationary high pressure wash. A shroud channels the influent liquid solid mixture towards a filtered water basin disposed directly underneath the lower belt portion permitting cleansed water to be removed therefrom.

Continuous centrifuge

A two-vector centrifuge rotates on a central axis, while each centrifuge drum also rotates on the drum's own axis. The inside of each drum has flighting or threads to direct and force material to the bottom of the drum as the two-vector centrifuge rotates. Perforations in the top part of the drum allow liquids to be expelled from the drum, while dried, solid material is ejected though a gap in the bottom of the drum. A pair of troughs keep the ejected liquid fraction separate from the ejected solid fraction, and each fraction is removed from the centrifuge while the centrifuge is operating, allowing the centrifuge to run for extended periods without needing to be cleaned or have accumulated material removed.

Rotary disc filter device

A rotary disc filter device includes a rotor rotatable about an axis of rotation, having a plurality of disc-shaped filter members. Each disc-shaped filter member has two walls extending outwardly form the axis of rotation. At least one of the walls has the form of a frustum.

SLURRY TREATMENT APPARATUS

An apparatus (110 or 10) for treating a flocculated slurry (18) with an initial liquid content comprising a treatment arrangement defining a treatment zone (114) in which the slurry (18) is supported on a treatment surface (16) of the treatment arrangement, a feed arrangement (116) for feeding slurry (18) into the apparatus (110 or 10), a discharge (118) through which output product (24) is discharged from the treatment zone (114), wherein the treatment surface (16) is configured such that interaction between the treatment surface (16) and the slurry (18) causes at least a portion of liquid within the slurry (18) to be separated therefrom, such that a liquid content of the output product (24) is lower than the initial liquid content.
