A waste separator for attachment to a sink drain pipe is provided, the waste separator comprising: a transverse pipe, the transverse pipe including a proximal end, a distal end, a sidewall therebetween, a solid waste outlet at the distal end and a flange on the sidewall, the transverse pipe defining a transverse bore; a motor-driven, non-cutting auger which is housed in the transverse bore; a cylindrical filter around the motor-driven, non-cutting auger; a water collector below the cylindrical filter and terminating in a wastewater outlet; a sink wastewater inlet in a vicinity of the proximal end, the sink wastewater inlet normal to the transverse bore and in fluid communication with the transverse bore; a normally-closed flap valve, the normally-closed flap valve hingedly attached to transverse pipe proximate the distal end; a hinge actuator for the normally-closed flap valve; and a microprocessor, the microprocessor in electronic communication with the hinge actuator.
MICROFLOTATION SYSTEM HAVING AN EXPANSION VALVE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A MICROFLOTATION SYSTEM
A microflotation system comprises a flotation tank with a dispersion water feed line in which an expansion valve arrangement is disposed. An adjusting apparatus is configured to adjust a flow rate of the expansion valve arrangement and an electronic control is connected to the adjusting apparatus. A measuring apparatus is disposed downstream from the expansion valve arrangement for detecting a size distribution of gas bubbles and the electronic control is configured to set the flow rate depending on a size distribution detected with the measuring apparatus.
Filter System Comprising a Pump and Filter Head Module for a Filter System
A filter system for filtering a fluid has a filter housing with filter housing head module and housing cover. The filter housing accommodates a filter element with raw side and clean side. A fluid inlet is in fluid connection with the raw side of the filter element. A fluid outlet is in fluid connection with the clean side of the filter element. The filter housing head module has a tube section as a main channel connecting the clean side of the filter element to the fluid outlet when the housing cover is attached to the filter housing head module. The tube section projects into the clean side of the filter element and has a ball valve seat of a ball valve for closing or opening the main channel. The filter housing head module has a pump chamber of a pump as a bypass channel bypassing the ball valve seat.
FLUID FILTRATION SYSTEM WITH SINGLE USE FILTER AND INTEGRATED INTEGRITY TEST DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A fluid filtration system includes a single use filter removably mounted to a cabinet of a workstation. The upstream end of the single use filter is in fluid communication with a pump via a fluid supply conduit that includes a test junction. An integrity test device is supported by the cabinet and is in fluid communication with the upstream end of the single use filter via a test conduit fluidly connected to the single use filter via the test junction of the fluid supply conduit. The integrity test device adapted to be connected to a source of pressurized gas and to selectively direct a flow of pressurized gas through the test conduit and the single use filter to perform a test operation on the single use filter.
FLUID FILTRATION SYSTEM WITH SINGLE USE FILTER AND METHOD OF USING SAME FOR AUTOMATED FILTER CONDITIONING
Embodiments of a fluid filtration system constructed in accordance with principles of the present disclosure can be used to automatically condition the single use filter for efficient use thereof. For example, in embodiments, the fluid filtration system can include a filter conditioning program containing at least one of a filter priming module, a filter flushing module, and a filter pressurizing module.
Aquarium filter arrangement with control valve
A filter arrangement for an aquarium is disclosed. The filter arrangement can include a housing assembly, a pump assembly, a transfer tube assembly, and a valve assembly for controlling water flow through the transfer tube assembly. The transfer tube assembly can include a tube structure within which a valve body of the valve assembly is rotatably disposed. The tube structure can be formed from a first tube half mated to a second tube half to permanently secure the valve body within the tube structure. A valve operator can be connected to the valve body to advantageously allow a user to manipulate the flow of water through the transfer tube assembly. Control of water flow through the filter arrangement is beneficial for obtaining a desired water flow for a certain aquarium size and application and for reducing flow during certain periods, such as during feeding.
Valve assemblies to supply fluid pressure to components in multiple transmission operating modes
Transmissions, filter assemblies for transmissions, and valve assemblies for transmissions are disclosed herein. A transmission includes an input shaft, an output shaft, and a hydraulic system. The input shaft is configured to receive rotational power supplied by a drive unit. The output shaft is coupled to the input shaft and configured to provide rotational power supplied to the input shaft to a load. The hydraulic system is configured to supply fluid to one or more fluid demand devices coupled between the input shaft and the output shaft in one or more operating modes of the transmission. The hydraulic system includes a filter assembly having a filter element and a valve assembly fluidly coupled to the filter element.
Method for Liquid Filter Assembly
A method for servicing a section of a first flow line of a redundant flow line system with a second flow line in a closed-loop liquid cooling system. The method can include draining liquid from the first flow line through a liquid transfer assembly and servicing the section of the first flow line. The method can also include transferring liquid from the second flow line to the first flow line through the liquid transfer assembly and decoupling the liquid transfer assembly from the first flow line and the second flow line. The method can also include coupling the liquid transfer assembly to and between the first flow line and the second flow line.
COMPACT WATER HEATING AND TREATMENT SYSTEM
A water heating and treatment system includes a water heater operatively coupled to a water heater controller, a hot water outflow line from the water heater, and a cold water supply line to supply water to the water heater. The cold water supply line includes at least one of an anti-scale device operatively coupled to an anti-scale device controller, and at least one sanitation device operatively coupled to a sanitation device controller. The mixing station is operatively coupled to a mixing station controller. The mixing station supplies heated water to at least a first temperature zone at a first hot water temperature. Controllers of the water heater controller, the anti-scale device controller, the sanitation device controller and the mixing station controller are co-located at a front of a single enclosure behind an openable door, the controllers operatively coupled to a supervisory controller.

A water purifier includes a raw water flow path into which raw water is introduced, a clean water flow path connected to the raw water flow path and having a water discharge nozzle disposed at an end, a filter device disposed in the clean water flow path, and to which a filter is installable to filter the raw water, a drain flow path branched off from the clean water flow path between the filter and the water discharge nozzle and connected to a drain port to drain water in the clean water flow path to outside, a drain valve configured to open or close the drain flow path, and a controller configured to determine a remaining life of the filter on a point in time at which the filter has been replaced and control the drain valve to perform a cleaning operation based on the remaining life of the filter.
