A filter support for a filter is adjustable to modify the size and/or shape of the filter. The filter support may include one or more wedges engaging a wall of the filter, and a connector connecting the one or more wedges to one another. The connector allows selective adjustment of the filter support.

FILTER HEADER POCKET CHANNEL FRAME

The pocket channel frame provides a means for attaching the distal ends of a pocket frame without the need of any tools. The pocket channel frame is formed from a longitudinal member having an elongated “C” shaped cross section. One end comprises is a flared out female end with a rectangular slot or 5 hole in it. The opposing distal end of the longitudinal having a C shaped cross section is swaged down into a projecting male end including a lance punched in the web. When the male end is swaged, an edge is created in the transition area from male to female which acts as a stop means for cooperatively engaging the female receiving distal end and sets the length of a short side of the pocket channel frame. During assembly, the lance snaps into the hole cooperatively engaging the slot on the 10 female side preventing the channel frame from coming back apart.

FILTER SYSTEMS WITH FILTER BAG ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING FILTER BAGS WITH RADIAL SEAL GASKETS

Filter systems with filter bag assemblies including filter bags with gaskets configured to form radial seals, as well as corresponding methods of assembling and using the same, are described herein. The filter systems, filter bag assemblies, and filter bags with gaskets may be used in filter systems to remove particulate matter from air or other gases. Methods of using the filter systems and methods of assembling the filter bags on filter service cages in the filter bag assemblies are also described.

FILTER ELEMENT

The present invention relates to a ceramic filter arrangement comprising a ceramic filter and a support housed within the ceramic filter, wherein the support is in contact with inside walls of the ceramic filter.

Filter element for cleaning an air stream that is charged with particles and filter device that is equipped with said element

The invention relates to a filter device (1) and a filter element (8) for cleaning an air stream that is charged with particles. The filter element (8) comprises a bag-type filter sock (17) consisting of an air-permeable, flexible material and a support body (21) in the interior of the bag-type filter sock (17). The first axial end of the bag-type filter sock (17) is closed and the second axial end has an air outlet that allows the cleaned air stream to exit the filter sock (17). An inner diameter or inner periphery of the filter sock (17) is greater in cross-sectional areas between the air outlet and its closed first end, in particular at least 10%, preferably between 20% and 40% greater than the greatest outer diameter or outer periphery of the support body (21), such that the filter sock (17) is dimensioned in relation to the support body (21) contained therein such that in the inactive state of the filter element (8) without air flow, said sock surrounds the support body (21) in a relatively loose manner and with lateral clearance. When air flows against the outer surface of the filter sock (17), folds or undulations are deliberately formed, at least in the jacket section of the filter sock (17), and the filter sock (17) thus lies comparatively closer to the support body (21).

AIR FILTRATION MONITORING SYSTEM WITH LEARNING FEATURES

Embodiments herein relate to monitoring systems that can learn patterns of filtration system operation and then use the learned patterns to monitor ongoing filtration system operation/performance. In a first aspect, a monitoring system for an air filtration system is included having a control circuit, and a pressure sensor, wherein the pressure sensor is in electronic communication with the control circuit. The monitoring system can be configured to store data reflecting signals of the pressure sensor, evaluate the stored data representing a first time period to derive a valve operating pattern, and compare data from the pressure sensor obtained after the first time period against the derived valve operating pattern to identify an abnormal valve event.
