An air filter and a method of air filtration using the air filter are described. The air filter may comprise a filter media adapted to capture and filter one or more impurities from air. Further, one or more sound wave generators are attached at one or more sides of the filter media. The one or more sound wave generators generate acoustic waves to be propagated into the filter media. The air filter may further comprise a plurality of sensors positioned before the filter media and after the filter media. Further at least one fan is positioned before or after the filter media. Further an IoT is configured to control frequency of the acoustic waves generated by the one or more sound waves generators, and interconnected with power signal control panel parallel, AHU to control rotational speed of the at least one fan based on value provided by the plurality of sensors.

The device also includes a battery-powered air mover mounted on the frame and operable to pull air through the air intake filter and through the inlet duct and push air out into the inside of the device and a rechargeable battery mounted on the frame to power the air mover. The device further includes a transparent face shield mounted on one side of the frame in such a way as to create an airtight seal between the face shield and the one side of the frame, a fabric component made from an air impermeable fabric and mounted on the other side of the frame in such a way as to create an airtight seal between the fabric component and the other side of the frame, and to encircle the user's neck, a head harness configured to rest on the user's head and support the frame with its components mounted thereon, and wherein the components are mounted on the upper portion the frame and on the lower portion of the frame so as to achieve a weight distribution ratio between the upper portion of the frame with components mounted thereon and the lower portion of the frame with components mounted thereon, the ratio being between 1 to 1.5 and 1.5 to 1.

The first and second filtering means comprises a filter medium configured to separate dirt from the dirt-laden air passing from the inlet to the outlet through the filter medium. The system further comprises filter cleaning means for removing dirt from the filter medium of the first filtering means when the housing is configured at least in the operative configuration.
