INDOOR UNIT OF AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
An indoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes a fan unit having an axial fan and a motor that drives the axial fan. The indoor unit also includes a pair of support arms on a back plate constituting a back surface of a casing. The fan unit is supported by the pair of support arms from the below.
Filter system and a vacuum cleaner incorporating a filter system
A filter system for a vacuum cleaner is disclosed. The system comprises a housing reconfigurable relative to a bin between an operative configuration in which the housing is disposed upon the bin so that dirt separated from dirt-laden air can collect in the bin, and an idle configuration in which the housing is removed from the bin. The housing comprises an inlet for receiving dirt-laden air into the housing, an outlet via which cleaned air can exit the housing. The system further comprises first filtering means and second filtering means disposed within the housing, the first filtering means being positioned upstream of the second filtering means. The first and second filtering means comprises a filter medium configured to separate dirt from the dirt-laden air passing from the inlet to the outlet through the filter medium. The system further comprises filter cleaning means for removing dirt from the filter medium of the first filtering means when the housing is configured at least in the operative configuration.

INDUSTRIAL SWEEPER PROVIDED WITH AN IMPROVED DEVICE FOR UNCLOGGING THE AIR FILTER THEREOF
An industrial sweeper operates by rolling along a floor to be cleaned, pushed or pulled, including: a brush with a horizontal axis depending on the use position of the industrial sweeper on a horizontal floor, a collecting pan for collecting dirt swept by the brush, the collecting pan mounted and able to pivot between a closed and working position and a wide open position allowing the pan to be emptied, a suction turbine downstream of the collecting pan suctioning dust into the collecting pan when in closed position, two wheels for resting on the floor, an air filter, an unclogging mechanism for unclogging the air filter. The air filter is fixed on the collecting pan and the unclogging mechanism includes an end stop to block travel of the collecting pan in its wide open position, the end stop causing a shock at the end of the collecting pan opening movement.

Air filter medium, filter pleat pack, and air filter unit
The air filter medium of the present invention is an air filter medium including a stack of a porous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane and an air-permeable support member, a repulsive force generated in the medium when the medium is compressed in a thickness direction thereof is equal to or greater than 30 kPa and equal to or less than 150 kPa at a compression ratio of 30%, and at least one main surface of the air filter medium is formed by the air-permeable support member and has a maximum coefficient of friction of 24 gf or less. The air filter medium of the present invention is an air filter medium that uses a porous PTFE membrane and in which a decrease in collection efficiency due to pleating is inhibited.

Filter device and method for dedusting same
A filter device for a vacuum cleaner having a turbine device and a motor. The vacuum cleaner includes two chambers and filter elements of the filter device are dedusted by an abrupt change in position of a dividing element in the chambers. Since, when one of the two chambers is being dedusted, the suction operation of the vacuum cleaner can be maintained through the other chamber, the filter dedusting can advantageously take place during continued suction operation of the vacuum cleaner. A method for dedusting a filter device in a vacuum cleaner, wherein, as a result of a valve being actuated, an air volume is driven out of one of the two chambers so that a dividing element is advantageously made to change position, and this can result in a backflushing pulse and mechanical shaking of the filter element, and dedusting of the filter device.
