Scrubber unit for a paint booth
A paint booth assembly includes a paint booth having a pair of side walls and a flood sheet extending between the pair of side walls to separate the paint booth between a spray portion disposed above the flood sheet and a paint recovery portion disposed below the flood sheet. The flood sheet defines at least one flood sheet opening, and a scrubber unit extends down from the flood sheet opening to establish a shared path of fluid communication of a flow of water from the flood sheet and a downdraft of process air from the spray portion to the paint recovery portion. A scrubber pod is disposed within the scrubber unit and defines a plurality of perforations to induce an initial mixing of the paint particles entrained in the downdraft of process air into the flow of water.
PLASTIC SCRUBBER FOR PAINT SPRAY BOOTH
A wet scrubber having a body that is molded from a plastic material in combination with a nozzle insert that is removably received in the inlet of the wet scrubber and configured to optimize the speed of fluid flow entering a mixing chamber provided in the wet scrubber. Interchangeable nozzle inserts allow to optimize operation of the wet scrubber for different processes the wet scrubber is operating in conjunction with.
DROPLET HEAT EXCHANGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A droplet heat exchange system is provided for that includes a heat exchange chamber, at least one injector, and at least one swirler. The chamber is configured to have gas flow through it. The injector can be configured to dispense liquid droplets into the chamber for thermal energy exchange with gas flowing through the chamber. The swirler can disposed within the chamber and can have a body configured to form a spiral gas flow that pushes liquid droplets from the injector, radially outward as gas flows across the body, thereby separating the liquid droplets from the gas flowing across the body and forming a liquid film along an inner wall of the chamber. The collector can be in fluid communication with the heat exchange chamber and configured to collect the liquid film after thermal energy exchange. The collector can be configured to direct at least some of the collected liquid film to the injector for subsequent use.

LIQUID FILTER APPARATUS FOR GAS/SOLID SEPARATION FOR SEMICONDUCTOR PROCESSES
A liquid filter apparatus for gas/solid separation includes a housing with a filter chamber, a semiconductor process gas inlet, and a process gas outlet. The filter chamber forms a liquid reservoir, and the semiconductor process gas inlet and the process gas outlet are in communication with the filter chamber. The housing further includes a filter liquid inlet and a filter liquid outlet, which are in communication with the liquid reservoir for delivering and removing filter fluid, respectively, to and from the liquid reservoir.

Nozzle for filling a fuel tank, comprising a liquid-vapour separator having two positions
A filling nozzle of a fuel tank including a receiving pipe and a liquid-vapor separator, includes a hollow body communicating with an intake pipe for a stream of vapors from the fuel tank, an emptying pipe flowing into the receiving pipe, and a vapor outlet pipe. The hollow body includes a separation mechanism extracting droplets and including at least one wall movable between first and second configurations. In the first configuration the movable wall forms, together with walls of the hollow body, a maze in which stream of vapors passing from the intake pipe towards the outlet pipe is forced to circulate. In the second configuration the movable wall allows the stream of vapors to pass from the intake pipe to the outlet pipe following a path that avoids all or part of the path travelled by the vapors when the movable walls are in the first configuration.
