A carbon dioxide recovery device provided with a separation device that separates carbon dioxide from to-be-separated gas (for example, combustion exhaust gas) containing carbon dioxide, wherein: in order from the upstream side where the to-be-separated gas is supplied, the separation device and carbon dioxide sublimators, which sublimate (solidify) carbon dioxide that was separated in the separation device, are connected in series, refrigerant circuits in which a fluid having cold heat serves as the refrigerant, are connected to the carbon dioxide sublimators, and the refrigerant is used to sublimate (solidify) the carbon dioxide; and when the carbon dioxide is sublimated (solidified), the carbon dioxide sublimators are depressurized and set to negative pressure so as to draw in the carbon dioxide separated at the separation device.

Disclosed herein is a fracturing unit for hydraulic fracturing having an engine and a fracturing pump connected to the engine through a variable speed torque converter. Also disclosed is a hydraulic fracturing system using multiple fracturing units which are sized similar to ISO containers. A hydraulic fracturing system may also force flow back water, produced water, or fresh water through a heat exchanger so that heat from the fracturing engines can be transferred to these liquids in order to vaporize them. A force cooled fractioning unit then can accept the vapor/steam in order to condense the various components and produce distilled water for re-use in the fracturing process or for release into the environment.

Process scheme to improve divalent metal salts removal from mono ethylene glycol (MEG)

A MEG reclamation process includes the step of increasing above 2,000 ppm the divalent metal salts concentration of a rich (wet) MEG feed stream flowing into a precipitator. The increasing step includes routing a salts-saturated MEG slipstream from the flash separator it to the precipitator. The slipstream may be mixed with a fresh water feed stream, a portion of the rich MEG feed stream, or some combination of the two. The rich MEG feed stream also may be split into two streams, with a portion of the stream being heated and routed to the flash separator and the other portion being combined as above with the removed slipstream. The process can be performed on the slipstream after dilution and prior to entering the precipitator or after being loaded into the precipitator. Removal of the insoluble salts may be done in either a batch or continuous mode.

The present invention belongs to the technical field of preparation of light metal alloy materials, in particular to a method for producing a magnesium-lithium alloy by a gaseous co-condensation method. The method comprises the steps of: 1) mixing and briquetting a lithium salt, a refractory agent and a catalyst under pressure, and then thermally decomposing to form an unsaturated composite oxide; 2) respectively crushing and ball-milling, and then briquetting the unsaturated composite oxide, magnesium oxide, a reducing agent and a fluxing agent; 3) reducing briquettes in vacuum; 4) making a gas pass through a first condensing chamber of a temperature control device, and then purifying; 5) The purified metal gas is condensed into the condensing phase of the alloy through the second condensing chamber of a quenching device; 6) obtaining the magnesium-lithium alloy with a purity being 99.5% or above by virtue of smelting and flux-refining, and then purifying by distillation. The magnesium-lithium alloy obtained in the present application is not segregated, so that a stable β-phase solid solution or a compound having an increasing purity being 99.95% is formed.

The invention generally relates to a modular crude oil refinery (MOOR). The MOOR is designed for smaller scale deployment with a capacity to process in the range of 3,000-4,000 barrels of crude oil per day in a single production unit and with the potential to scale to over 100,000 barrels per day with linked production units. More specifically, a MOOR includes a low temperature, low pressure primary separation reactor, condensing system and recirculation systems operating in a closed loop configuration that enable the production of both heavy and light hydrocarbon products with substantially no emissions. The MOOR has the capability to receive and process crude-oil feedstocks of varying API gravity and be controlled to produce a variety of both heavy and light products including cleaner-burning bunker fuels, jet fuels, diesel fuels, gasoline fuels and asphalt binders.
