Also disclosed is a method of preparing a reactant stream for a Sabatier reactor.
DRYING DEVICE FOR RECYCLING ADSORBENT BY USING MICROWAVES
The present invention relates to a drying apparatus capable of regenerating an adsorbent used for drying using microwaves. The drying apparatus of the present invention is formed to include a microwave irradiation means configured to irradiate microwaves to the adsorbent in a plurality of reaction towers in which the adsorbent adsorbing moisture or carbon dioxide is embedded, and when regenerating the adsorbent, directly heats the adsorbent using microwaves, thereby shortening a heating time and securing a sufficient cooling time, resulting in the effect of reducing the amount of dry air consumed for cooling and further increasing the drying efficiency.
DAC MATERIALS
Method for separating gaseous carbon dioxide from air, in particular from ambient atmospheric air (1), by cyclic adsorption/desorption using a sorbent material (3), wherein said sorbent material (3) is a solid inorganic or organic, non-polymeric or polymeric support material functionalized on the surface with amino functionalities capable of reversibly binding carbon dioxide, with a specific BET surface area, preferably measured by nitrogen adsorption, in the range of 1-20 m2/g.
ADSORBENT BED FOR MERCAPTAN REMOVAL WITH INCREASED HYDROTHERMAL STABILITY
Disclosed in certain embodiments are methods of removing water from a gas feed stream comprising mercaptans and water during an adsorption step of an adsorption cycle.
AIR TREATMENT DEVICE
An air treatment device includes: a treater configured to capture a toxic substance contained in target air; a regenerator configured to remove the toxic substance from the treater; a detector configured to detect an index correlated with a concentration of the toxic substance contained in room air; and a control unit configured to control the regenerator according to a detection value detected by the detector.
A method to capture and utilize CO2 and an installation for capturing and utilizing CO2
The invention relates to a cyclic method for capturing and utilizing CO.sub.2 contained in a gas stream. The method uses three different materials, a first solid material, a second solid material and a CO.sub.2 sorbent material.
In a first step a first gas stream comprising CO.sub.2 and at least one reductant is brought in contact with the three materials, resulting in an outlet stream comprising water. In a second step, the captured CO.sub.2 from the first step is released and converted to CO to produce a CO rich outlet stream. The invention further relates to an installation for capturing and utilizing CO.sub.2.
ROBUST AND SUSTAINABLE CHEMICAL TREATMENT FOR SULFUR CONTAMINANTS IN FEED NATURAL GAS
A method for removing contaminants from a gas stream including contacting a gas stream comprising hydrocarbons and sulfur contaminants with a modified nanocomposite adsorbent. Also provided are compositions and processes for forming compositions of a modified nanocomposite adsorbent composition for removing sulfur contaminants from a hydrocarbon stream. Additionally, provided is system for removing sulfur impurities from a gaseous hydrocarbon stream, where the system includes a plurality of adsorbent vessels arranged in series, where the adsorbent vessels include an emulsion of a modified nanocomposite adsorbent composition.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, FACILITIES AND PROCESSES FOR CO2 CAPTURE/SEQUESTRATION AND PYROLYSIS BASED HYDROGEN GENERATION FROM BLAST FURNACE FACILITIES
A blast furnace facility includes a process for capturing and sequestering CO2 generated from the facility process, producing hydrogen from the hot blast furnace gas, and using blast furnace gas as methanol feed. The CO2 rich streams from the facility may be sent to sequestration of some form via a sequestration compressor, thereby reducing the overall emissions from the facility. The other products generated by the facility are used as methanol feedstock and to produce hydrogen.
