CARBON CAPTURE METHOD AND SYSTEM
Methods, systems, and apparatus, relate to a method for carbon capture from sea water. A first source of sea water into a reverse osmosis chamber. Reverse osmosis is performed on the sea water to produce fresh water and brine. The brine is provided to an electrolyzer. A current is passed through the brine and fresh water, thereby producing a hydroxide solution in a cathode chamber of the electrolyzer. The hydroxide solution is collected and placed into a contacting chamber and new sea water introduced. Precipitates are produced comprising at least calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate.
WATER HEAT DISSIPATING SYSTEM USED FOR CONDENSER COIL OF WATER FILTER APPARATUS AND WATER FILTER APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a water heat dissipating system used for a condenser coil of a water filter apparatus, the system comprising: said condenser coil of the water filter apparatus including a bent refrigerant pipeline part with a suitable shape for transferring heat from refrigerant conducted by the condenser coil to outside; a water heat dissipating container for containing water therein, the water heat dissipating container having a water heat dissipating container inlet and a water heat dissipating container outlet to circulate water contained in the water heat dissipating container. The bent refrigerant pipeline part is arranged inside the water heat dissipating container for transferring heat from refrigerant conducted inside the bent refrigerant pipeline part to water contained in the water heat dissipating container. The water heat dissipating container inlet is connected to at least a waste water outlet of a RO filter cartridge (Reverse Osmosis) of the water filter apparatus. The present invention also relates to a water filter apparatus using the water heat dissipating system.

Method for separation and purification of n-acetylglucosamine
The disclosure relates to a method for separation and purification of N-acetyl-glucosamine, and belongs to the technical field of biological engineering. In the disclosure, a raw material solution containing N-acetyl-glucosamine is obtained by microbial fermentation or by hydrolyzing the chitin. The raw material solution is subjected to flocculation pretreatment, and continuous centrifugation or pressure filtration is performed to remove suspended solids such as microorganisms, proteins and polysaccharides to obtain clear liquid. Double-stage ion exchange chromatography is performed to remove impurities such as charged organic molecules and inorganic salts. Membrane concentration is performed to efficiently remove water to improve the concentration of the target product. Spray drying or further evaporation concentration and crystallization are performed. Finally drying is performed to obtain an N-acetyl-glucosamine crystal of which the purity is more than 99%.
SUBMERGED HYPERFILTRATION SYSTEM
A submerged water purification system including a plurality of spiral wound hyperfiltration membrane modules each connected in a parallel flow arrangement to a common feed manifold and a common permeate manifold; wherein each module includes at least one feed spacer sheet and one membrane envelop wound about a permeate collection tube having a plurality of openings along its length that are in fluid communication with the membrane envelop, and further including an end cap secured to an end of the module with a manifold junction reversibly connected to the end cap of each module, wherein the manifold junction provides a sealed fluid communication between the feed spacer sheets and permeate collection tubes of each module to the feed manifold and permeate manifold, respectively.

A purification device for water has a housing with a longitudinal axis, an upper and a lower end and a substantially round cross section. The device includes a first receptacle, arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the housing, for a first purification medium, and a second receptacle, which is also arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the housing, for a second purification medium. The receptacle for the second purification medium is arranged eccentrically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the housing.
Liquid Purification System
A liquid purification system includes a system raw liquid feed unit and a filtration unit, which includes a liquid concentration device having an internal partition dividing a variable volume collection cavity for raw liquid coming from an initial stage of liquid filtration and for mixing therein concentrate and a raw liquid displacement cavity. The cavity is connected to a secondary line that supplies raw liquid to the cavity to displace concentrate from the collection cavity and to recycle raw liquid from the displacement cavity through the secondary line under pressure exerted by concentrate and raw liquid in the collection cavity. A filtration unit provides long-term contact between raw liquid and concentrate in the variable-volume collection cavity to provide smooth increase in the concentration of liquid supplied to a liquid purification device.
SURFACE-FUNCTIONALIZED MOLYBDENUM DISULFIDE MEMBRANES FOR FILTRATION APPLICATIONS
Molybdenum disulfide membranes for ionic and/or molecular filtration applications are provided. The membranes have high separation performance, including high water flux and high molecule and/or ion rejection, and do not need to be stored in a hydrated condition in order to enable their reuse.
