FE-AL-BASED METAL POROUS MEMBRANE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention discloses a Fe—Al-based metal porous membrane and a preparation method thereof, which relate to the technical field of industrial gas-solid and liquid-solid separation and purification, and mainly address problems in the prior art, such as cracking-prone and peeling of a membrane layer of an existing Fe—Al-based metal porous membrane during its preparation and use. The preparation method of the present invention comprises the steps of: adding a Fe—Al-based metal powder and a metal fiber powder into an organic-additive-added water-based solvent, and mixing them into a slurry; casting the slurry, through a casting machine, to form a membrane green body on a metal substrate layer, and letting it dry; and placing the dried membrane green body in a sintering furnace, to remove organic substances and perform high-temperature sintering and predetermined-temperature reaction synthesis.

Hydrogen purification using molecular dynamics
A membrane is described for purifying or separating hydrogen from a multi-component gas stream such as syngas. This membrane uses a molecular pre-treatment, a transition metal, fluorine containing polymer, carbon fibers and carbon matrix sintered on a supportive screen. The membrane may be a bilayer membrane comprised of a layer containing high surface area carbon and another layer containing lower surface area carbon.
PARTICLE-COATED FIBER AND METHOD FOR FORMING THE SAME
The present invention provides a particle-coated fiber comprising a fiber and particles coated on the fiber, and a method for forming the same. The method comprises: providing a suspension comprising the particles; providing a polymer solution for forming the fiber; electrospraying the suspension toward an area of a collector; and during the electrospraying of the suspension, electrospinning the polymer solution into the fiber and directing the fiber toward the area so as to meet with the suspension on the area and on the way to the area such that the particles are coated on the fiber during and after the formation of the fiber thereby forming the particle-coated fiber on the area. By the present method, the particles can be crowed on the surface of the fiber, and the adhesiveness between the fiber and the particles can be substantially enhanced.
DOUBLE-LAYERED CELLULOSE NANOFIBER MATERIAL, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING, MEMBRANES, AND USE THEREOF
A double-layered material consisting of a cellulose nanofibrous (CNF) layer and a graphene oxide (GO) nanolayer coating, wherein the material comprises 0.5-4 wt. % of GO, preferably 1-2 wt. % of GO, in relation to the total weight of the material is disclosed, as well as methods for producing said material, membranes comprising said material, and uses of said material and membranes Thus, the present invention provides a cellulose nanofiber material with a high flux, a good separation performance and a strong mechanical and structural stability in solution.

Composite membranes comprising nanoparticles for liquid filtration
A filter membrane includes carbon nanotubes and carbon nitride nanoparticles. Inter-particle atomic interactions between the carbon nanotubes and the carbon nitride nanoparticles bind the carbon nanotubes and the carbon nitride nanoparticles together. A filter cartridge includes such a filter membrane disposed within an outer housing between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet such that fluid passing through the outer housing between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet passes through the filter membrane. Such filter membranes may be formed by dispersing carbon nanotubes and carbon nitride nanoparticles in a liquid to form a suspension, and passing the suspension through a filter to deposit the nanotubes and nanoparticles on the filter. Liquid may be filtered by causing the liquid to pass through such a filter membrane.
