A disposable material processing apparatus, useable as a bioreactor or fermenter, includes a hollow tank (101) and a mixing paddle (110) disposed within the interior of the tank and adapted to mix contents therein. The paddle may be isolated within a flexible sleeve (140). Various functional elements, such as a sparger, sensor, material extraction conduit, material addition conduit, and/or heat exchange element may be provided, and optionally arranged to travel with the paddle within the tank interior. Baffles may protrude into a mixing tank to enhance mixing. A tank and/or sleeve may comprise polymeric film materials.

An electromechanical nixtamalization system consisting of a rotary reactor, which turns on a horizontal axis and has a single-piece inner steel container without internal blades. It has resistors, a ceramic fiber layer, and a detachable stainless steel plate, and is fed by the maize grains introduced into an upper receiving hopper, and a cooling vat with a lid; and an interior and intermediate surface, as well as a cooling chamber located between the interior and intermediate walls, coated in a high-pressure polyurethane lining.

An animatronic agitating assembly includes an animatron that may be positioned on an edge of a pool. The animatron has a head, a torso, a pair of arms and a pair of legs. A motion unit is coupled to the animatron. The motion unit urges each of the legs to move back and forth with respect to the torso. Thus, each of the legs may agitate water in the pool.

A mixing chamber includes a container for receiving a first and a second component; an obstacle structure, which is designed such that, under the effect of a centrifugal force or magnetic force acting on the mixing chamber, it moves through the first and second components in the container and mixes them with each other; and a connection piece, which is connected at one end to the container and at the other end to the obstacle structure.
