Chemical release system
A feeding head assembly and a chemical release system for eliminating scale conditions and maintaining a neutral pH in potable water is disclosed. The feeding head assembly may include a composite membrane system comprising at least one semi-permeable layer and at least one filter layer. A chemical release system may include a cartridge or vessel. The cartridge may include a hollow body with two opposing open ends. A time-release pouch may be located within the hollow body and holds a composition that mixes with potable water to eliminate scale conditions and maintain a neutral pH in the potable water. A feeding head assembly may be coupled within the hollow body between the time-release pouch and one open end of the hollow body.
Sewage Treatment Chlorinator and System and Method for Use of Same
A sewage treatment chlorinator for use at a site not connected to a municipal sewer system and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the sewage treatment chlorinator, a housing includes an external conduit coupled in a t-connection to a flow tube. An inner canister is sized to be selectively inserted and removed from the external conduit and includes a perforated end cap having a flow deck sized to suspend a chlorine tablet within a contact chamber of the flow tube. The flow tube receives effluent form an aerobic tank and discharge treated effluent to a post-treatment tank. At least a portion of the discharge from the flow tube is gravity-based discharge into the post-treatment tank.
Devices and systems for water treatment
The invention is an apparatus for preparing a chemical solution. A device of the present invention includes a housing including a lower chamber and an upper chamber and a dissolving bowl arranged at an interface of the lower chamber and upper chamber. The dissolving bowl includes a grid disposed within. Solid, undissolved chemical material rests on a top surface of the grid, such that the grid is able to maintain physical separation of the solid, undissolved chemical material from at least a bottom portion of the dissolving bowl. The device further includes a nozzle disposed within the dissolving bowl and positioned so as to direct flow of aqueous fluid into the dissolving bowl and towards the grid. The dissolving bowl further includes an outlet in fluid communication with the lower chamber to thereby allow for a prepared chemical solution to flow from the dissolving bowl into the lower chamber.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DOSING A DISSOLVABLE CHEMICAL TO WATER
A method of treating water includes directing a stream of water towards a lateral side of a water treatment substance body contained within a holder. The water stream serves to abrade the water treatment substance body, thereby to dose the water with the water treatment substance. Dosed water is thus formed. The dosed water is allowed to pass through at least one opening in the holder.
FORMING OF DISINFECTANT SOLUTIONS
A method of dissolving a soluble disinfectant in solid format in a stream of water flowing in flow path, to provide an aqueous disinfectant solution in the flow path, includes directing a stream of water along the flow path toward a disinfectant dissolution zone in a disinfectant dispensing device located in the flow path. In the disinfectant dissolution zone, soluble disinfectant in solid format is located. Water of the stream of water contacts the disinfectant in the dissolution zone and thus dissolves of the disinfectant, thereby forming a disinfectant solution in the flow path in the dispensing device. Prior to water of the stream of water contacting the disinfectant, in a flow modification zone that is in the flow path in the dispensing device at an effective distance upstream of the disinfectant dissolution zone, at constant volumetric flow rate of the stream of water, one or more flow characteristics of water of the stream of water are artificially modified, for modified impact of water of the stream of water onto the disinfectant, by means of a flow modifying component that is located in the flow modification zone.
Mixing container and spray container including mixing container
A mixing container includes a body having an upper opening and containing a dissolving agent, at least one receiving chamber protruding outward from an inner peripheral surface of the body, having a hollow defined in the protrusion where a press-through pack (PTP) sheet is fittable from inside the body, and formed from a flexible material, a support including a plate and a releasing hole that communicates with an inlet of the hollow in the receiving chamber when the plate is installed on the inner peripheral surface of the body and allows a substance stored in the PTP sheet to be released into the body, and holds an edge of the PTP sheet between the inner peripheral surface of the body and the plate, and a holding structure that holds the support on the inner peripheral surface of the body.
Fluoride delivery device for water system
The fluoride tablet feeder device is a device for dissolution of fluoride tablets into a water stream. The device is specifically designed for the fluoride tablets disclosed and claimed by U.S. Pat. No. 10,485,738 titled Tablet for Fluoridating Potable Water, which is incorporated by reference. The crux of ideal dissolution of fluoride tablets in a flowing water supply is total immersion of the tablets, with water flowing around all tablet sides for even dissolution.
DOSING DEVICE FOR SOLID MOLDED BODIES FOR PREPARING A SOLUTION
An apparatus for preparing a medical solution by adding substances present in solid molded bodies to a solvent comprises a mixing container, which can be filled through an inlet with a solvent and from which the solution can be supplied to an application via an outlet, and which also has a feed port, through which the solid molded body can be introduced into the mixing container, as well as a dosing apparatus for controllable selective addition of solid molded bodies or parts thereof with different ingredients and/or different concentrations of ingredients from one or more storage containers, in which one or more corresponding receptacles of the apparatus are stored and in which the solid molded bodies are stored in such a way that they can be removed. The apparatus may also have a code detection device for detecting and analyzing a machine-readable code associated with a storage container, said code containing information about which ingredients are contained in the solid molded bodies stored in the respective storage container.
Time-release tablet and methods
A time-release composition and method of making and using the time-release composition. The time-release composition may include an active ingredient that is useful in deterring unwanted growth, such as bacterial and fungal growth, in high-flow water environments. The composition can include several active ingredients to provide a multiple use tablet. The multi-use tablet can be used to dispense any combination of active ingredients that act as clarifiers, minerals, medications, buffers, chemical dosing, and/or other maintenance components, such as growth deterrents and water filtration augmentation and any combination thereof.
