METHOD FOR PREPARING STABLE LIQUID EMULSION FORMS OF PLANT EXTRACT
A method for preparing stable liquid emulsion forms of plant extract is provided. A plant extract having a bitter flavor is mixed with diluent oil as an oil mixture and heat is applied to the oil mixture. An emulsifying agent is dispersed in water as an emulsifying solution. The oil mixture is mixed with the emulsifying solution. The mixed oil mixture and emulsifying solution is homogenized as a liquid form of the plant extract. Gluconic acid is added to the liquid form of the plant extract. The bitter flavor of the plant extract is disguised by adding a bitter blocker to the liquid form of the plant extract.
Mixer for an exhaust system comprising two oppositely bent areas
A mixer for an exhaust system for mixing reactant injected into an exhaust gas stream with exhaust gas includes a mixer body (22). The mixer body includes a reactant passage body area (24) with a reactant passage opening (26), a mixer plate body area (30) adjoining the reactant passage body area (24) on one side in a mixer longitudinal direction (L) and a mixer main body area (36) adjoining the reactant passage body area (24) in the mixer longitudinal direction (L) on another side opposite the one side.

MIXER AND MIXING UNIT FOR MIXING A PASTE
A mixer and a mixing unit for mixing and handling industrial side-stream materials. The mixer (6) is arranged onto a movable work machine (5) and it is used for mixing at least two side-stream materials to form a geopolymer. The mixer (6) comprises: a bucket part (27) for loading and transferring the side-stream material; a mixer apparatus (26) for mixing the side-stream material which has been loaded into the space delimited by the bucket part (27); a connecting device (25) for connecting the mixer (6) to a boom of a work machine (5); and at least one measuring device (S1, S2, S3) for determining properties of the material in the mixer (6).
ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR MIXING A PASTE AT A WASTE DISPOSAL SITE
An arrangement and a method for mixing and handling industrial side-stream materials. The mixer (6) is arranged onto a movable work machine (5) and it is used for mixing at least two side-stream materials to form a geopolymer. The side-stream materials are processed between a waste pile (4) and a casting area (13) in the mixer (6). Cast paste is allowed to harden and after that it is crushed to obtain an earthwork material.
Mixing apparatus and system
Provided is a mixing apparatus. The mixing apparatus comprises a housing defining a primary chamber, an inlet for receiving material into the mixing apparatus, as well as an outlet for discharging material from the mixing apparatus. The housing provides within the primary chamber a plurality of rotating shafts, each rotating shaft having a plurality of flailing fixtures associated therewith.
Method for preparing solid forms of plant extract
A method for preparing stable liquid emulsion forms of plant extract is provided. A plant extract is mixed with a diluent oil as an oil mixture. Heat is applied to the oil mixture until the mixture reaches a threshold viscosity. An emulsifying agent is dispersed in water as an emulsifying solution. The oil mixture and emulsifying solution are mixed together. The mixed oil mixture and emulsifying solution are homogenized as a liquid form of the plant extract.
CONTINUOUS EXTRUDED SOLIDS DISCHARGE
A device for processing oil or gas well waste solids, the device including a pressurizing discharge unit having a casing. The casing includes a solids inlet and a water inlet. The solids inlet receives treated solids into a front end of the casing, where the treated solids are exposed to a reduced pressure in an internal chamber of the casing of less than atmospheric pressure. The water inlet receives water and adds the water to the treated solids in the internal chamber. The casing includes an extruder screw unit, the extruder screw unit having progressive screw sections located inside the internal chamber and corresponding to conveying mixing and pressurizing screw sections. The conveying screw section conveys the treated solids along a long axis length of the extruder screw unit from the solids inlet towards a discharge end of the casing while the reduced pressure is maintained, the mixing screw section mixes the treated solids and the water together to form a paste, and the pressurizing screw section conveys the paste towards the discharge end and generates, in a portion of the casing downstream from the mixing screw section, a backpressure that is greater than atmospheric pressure. The casing includes a die assembly to extrude the paste through an orifice of the die assembly located at the discharge end while maintaining the backpressure on the paste in the internal chamber. Method and system embodiments for processing oil or gas well waste solids are also disclosed.
Recovering bromine from solid waste containing bromine compounds, and applications thereof
Recovering bromine from solid waste containing bromine compounds, and applications thereof, such as for recovering bromine in a form suitable for reuse, or for manufacturing bromine salt (for example, calcium bromide). Bromine recovery method and system include: providing and mixing (i) solid waste containing bromine compounds and (ii) solid calcium hydroxide; heating the mixture in a chemical reducing (non-oxidizing) environment, thereby forming heated product consisting essentially of only solid calcium bromide (salt); and processing the heated product, to form bromine. Calcium bromide manufacturing method and system include: providing and mixing (i) solid waste containing bromine compounds and (ii) solid calcium hydroxide; heating the mixture in a chemical reducing (non-oxidizing) environment, thereby forming solid calcium bromide (salt). Applicable to processes of, or involving, manufacturing bromine-based flame (fire) retardant materials.
