KNEADING METHOD

A kneading method for kneading a mixture by repetitively forming a compressed space that is formed by an expanding-contracting body of a segment in an open state and an expanding-contracting body of a segment in a closed state adjacent to the segment in the open state and filled with the mixture in a compressed state pressed by the expanding-contracting body, by changing a combination of an operation state of each of the plurality of segments.

PROCEDURE AND INSTALLATION FOR LOADING BOREHOLES WITH BULK WATER-BASED SUSPENSION OR WATERGEL TYPE EXPLOSIVES

The present invention relates to a method and installation for loading boreholes with bulk water-based suspension or watergel type explosives characterized by the sensitization of the product by mixing a non-explosive or low sensitivity suspension matrix with compressed gas (e.g. air) at the end of the delivery hose.

CAVITATION PROCESS FOR WATER-IN-FUEL EMULSIONS
20210213399 · 2021-07-15 ·

A cavitation process for preparing a water-in-oil emulsion including a) adding water to fuel in a range of 5% to 35% of the total volume; b) feeding both water and fuel into an enclosed space, where the mixture is accelerated through a pressure rise induced by a pumping system; c) forcing the mixture through an acceleration tunnel where it hits a first cavitation barrier with adjustable bolts; d) feeding the mixture through a first decompression chamber causing a pressure decrease and subsequent vaporization of the mixture to form a vaporized mixture, forming water droplets whose diameter ranges from 1 m to 3 m; e) feeding the vaporized mixture on the second cavitation barrier with adjustable bolts, to a second decompression and forming water droplets of diameter of 0.1 m or less.

ACOUSTIC MIXING SYSTEM FOR CREATING PROPELLANT MIXTURE

The present disclosure relates to a method of creating a propellant mixture. The method includes forming an explosive composition mixture, placing the explosive composition mixture into a mixing vessel assembly, and operating an acoustic mixing system at an operating frequency such that the acoustic mixing system causes a vertical displacement of the mixing vessel. The explosive composition mixture has an explosive material, and one or more additives. The mixing vessel assembly has a closed mixing zone having a maximum vertical height. The acoustic mixing system is operated in a manner such that the operating frequency is substantially similar to the resonant frequency and a ratio of the maximum vertical height of the closed mixing zone to the vertical displacement of the mixing vessel assembly is 2.0 or less.

END OF HOSE MIXING SYSTEMS AND METHODS

An end of hose mixing system for development charging may include a static mixer disposed near the end of a delivery apparatus. The mixing system may include a mixing tube with a central bore, and the mixing tube is coupled to an outlet of a delivery hose. The mixing tube includes a static mixer disposed within the central bore of the mixing tube. The spray nozzle system further includes a nozzle with a central bore, and the nozzle is coupled to the mixing tube outlet. The static mixer may be disposed within a delivery hose itself. The static mixer may be disposed a predetermined distance from a distal end of the delivery apparatus to establish laminar flow of an emulsion after the emulsion is mixed with a sensitizing agent by the static mixer. The sensitized emulsion may be expelled from the delivery apparatus at an angle less than 45 degrees.

Method and device for emulsifying emulsion explosive

The present invention relates to a method and device for emulsifying emulsion explosive: an oil phase and a part of a water phase having undergone split-flow enter a first stage coarse emulsion mixer; after mixing, the mixture together with a part of the water phase having undergone second stage split-flow enters a second stage coarse emulsion mixer; the obtained mixture together with a part of the water phase having undergone third stage split-flow enters a third stage coarse emulsion mixer for mixing; forming a coarse emulsion matrix after multiple stages of mixing, and finally completing emulsification after mixing in a multi-stage fine emulsion mixer. The method and device mix the water phase with the oil phase multiple times according to a desired ratio, thus greatly reducing the stored explosive, with no mechanical stirring or shearing, with no heat accumulation, and with low pressure, without requiring matrix pumping, thus enhancing safety.
