METHOD FOR PRODUCING ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER AND ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER
A method for producing an electrostatic image developing toner includes mixing toner particles containing an amorphous resin with additive particles. A mixing device used in the mixing includes a stirring vessel, a stirring blade, and a jacket configured to cool the stirring vessel, and condition (1) and condition (2) are satisfied. Condition (1): an internal temperature Ti of the mixing device in the mixing and a glass transition temperature Tg of the amorphous resin contained in a near-surface portion of the toner particles satisfy Tg−50° C.≤Ti<Tg (inequality 1). Condition (2): 0.08≤ (Pm−P0)/w≤0.50 (inequality 2) is satisfied. In inequality 2, Pm represents an average power (kW) of a motor for driving the stirring blade of the mixing device in the mixing, P0 represents an idling power (kW) of the motor, and w represents a total mass (kg) of the toner particles and the additive particles in the mixing device.
System, method, and apparatus to oxygenate water
A system, method, and apparatus for oxygenation of a source of water, to increase the dissolved oxygen content of water. Aspects of the present invention harnesses and directs the power of water flowing through the system to extract oxygen present in air, rather than relying on the injection of gas or using other mechanical means. The water oxygenator is formed as an elongate cylindrical tube having a water inlet at a first end, a water outlet at a second end, and an air inlet proximal to the first end. The elongate cylindrical tube has an outer sidewall defining a mixing chamber within an interior cavity of the water oxygenator. The mixing chamber includes a plurality of baffles that are disposed in a spaced apart relation along a longitudinal length of the interior cavity.
METHOD OF MAINTAINING A FLUIDIC DISPENSING DEVICE
A method for maintaining a fluidic dispensing device includes providing a fluidic dispensing device having a fluid reservoir containing fluid, the fluid reservoir being defined in part by a base wall, and having a stir bar located in the fluid reservoir adjacent to the base wall, and having a fluid ejection chip having a fluid ejection direction; positioning the fluidic dispensing device at a predetermined orientation, wherein the fluid ejection direction is oriented in a range of upward vertical, plus or minus 90 degrees; and rotating the stir bar in a first rotational direction starting with a first rotational speed and increasing rotational velocity from the first rotational speed to a second rotational speed.
FLUIDIC DISPENSING DEVICE HAVING A GUIDE PORTION
A fluidic dispensing device includes a housing having a chamber that defines an interior space, and has an inlet port and an outlet port. A flow control portion has a flow separator feature. The flow separator feature is positioned adjacent the inlet port. A stir bar is located in the chamber, has a rotational axis, and has a plurality of paddles, with each paddle having a free end tip. The stir bar has a stir bar radius from the rotational axis to the free end tip. A guide portion confines the stir bar in a predetermined portion of the interior space of the chamber. A ratio of the stir bar radius and a clearance distance between the free end tip and the flow control portion is 5:2 to 5:0.025.
Tattoo Ink Mixing Apparatus
A tattoo ink mixing apparatus has a housing having a cavity, a plunger movable between a first position and a second position, and a dynamic member disposed in the cavity and adapted to engage with the plunger distal end. The dynamic member moves in response to movement of the plunger and alternatively creates a suction force and an expulsion force in the opening of the distal end of the housing as the plunger moves between its first and second positions.

Method for producing stable graphene, graphite and amorphous carbon aqueous dispersions
The present disclosure relates to a process to produce aqueous dispersions of graphene stabilized by cellulose, offering an alternative to the current methods of dispersion of graphene. The present process provides the advantages that it uses biodegradable cellulose compatible with the environment and can be used in industrial processes in alkaline medium or in the absence of alkali; and when graphene is stabilized with cellulose in alkaline medium it becomes unstable when in contact with natural waters, thus precipitating and being easily removed or concentrated. In other embodiments, solids obtained by drying of the dispersions, once dried, can be redispersed in aqueous alkaline solution.
LIQUID DISCHARGER AND LIQUID STIRRING METHOD
A liquid discharger includes a head including nozzles to discharge liquid from the nozzles, a detachable first container attached to the liquid discharger to accommodate the liquid, a second container connected to the head to accommodate the liquid to be supplied to the head, a supply channel to connect the first container and the second container, an irreversible pump connected to the second container, and a controller to control the irreversible pump to pressurize and decompress the second container to reciprocally move the liquid between the first detachable container and the second container via the supply channel.
Portable water treatment system using ozone
An apparatus is configured to introduce ozone into water. The apparatus includes an ozone source that is configured to provide ozone. The apparatus further includes an air pump that is operatively coupled with the ozone source to provide an air stream mixed with the ozone at a pressure greater than atmospheric pressure. The apparatus further includes an ozone distributor pneumatically coupled with the air pump to introduce the ozone-mixed air stream into the water. The ozone distributor includes a porous tube set in a tortuous configuration.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DOSING A DISSOLVABLE CHEMICAL TO WATER
A method of treating water includes directing a stream of water towards a lateral side of a water treatment substance body contained within a holder. The water stream serves to abrade the water treatment substance body, thereby to dose the water with the water treatment substance. Dosed water is thus formed. The dosed water is allowed to pass through at least one opening in the holder.
