Method for emulsion treatment
A method for producing a single-phase phase-stable liquid is provided, in which, in an embodiment: in a first step, a lipophilic liquid is mixed with a hydrophilic liquid, so that a mixture of the liquids is obtained; in a second step, the static pressure of the mixture is brought below the vapor pressure of at least one of the liquids, so that cavitation bubbles occur, for example, as a result of what is known as hard cavitation; and in a third step, the cavitation bubbles are caused to implode, a single-phase phase-stable liquid being obtained.

The holes (78, 81) and the small chambers (77, 82) delimit a labyrinth passageway for the liquid flowing through the duct (39) towards the outlet nozzle (41). The water/diesel oil micro-emulsion is obtained by recirculating a batch contained in the mixing tank (5) and comprising the diesel oil, the emulsifying composition and the water through a recirculation conduit and through the mixing device (22).
PRODUCING METHOD AND PRODUCING DEVICE OF EMULSION
The present invention provides a method of manufacturing an emulsion that is more excellent in monodispersibility by a membrane emulsification method. The manufacturing method for an emulsion of the present invention is a manufacturing method for an emulsion, including circulating a mixed liquid containing a water phase and an oil phase in a circulation circuit including a plurality of tanks, a porous body, a liquid-delivering means, and circulation pipes configured to connect the tanks, the porous body, and the liquid-delivering means so that the mixed liquid passes through the porous body a plurality of times, wherein a tank to supply the mixed liquid to the circulation pipes toward the porous body and a tank to recover the mixed liquid that has passed through the porous body are different tanks.
THC FOOD / BEVERAGE PRODUCT METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
The invention comprises a method for generating a THC amended food product from a commercially available original food product, the method including the steps of: (1) receiving the original food product into a THC licensed manufacturing facility from a legal zone where THC in the original food product is illegal; (2) exposing THC, water, and an emulsifier to shear forces exceeding 50,000 sec.sup.−1 to generate a THC emulsion; and (3) adding, in the THC licensed manufacturing facility, the THC emulsion to the original food product to form a THC amended product.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND COMPOSITION FOR SKIN IMPROVEMENT AND TRANSIENT FLORA REDUCTION
A composition for reducing transient flora on skin and improving the condition of the skin includes Ethanol or Isopropanol in an amount that is in a range from at least 60% to about 95% v/v of the composition and a hydrophobe-in-water dispersion. The composition can be prepared by homogenizing and high-pressure high-shearing a mixture of water, humectants, and one or more hydrophobes to form a hydrophobe-in-water dispersion, separately preparing an aqueous medium having the ethanol or isopropanol, and combining hydrophobe-in-water dispersion with the aqueous medium.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF PRODUCING STABLE HOMOGENOUS DISPERSIONS OF IMMISCIBLE FLUIDS
Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods of producing stable homogeneous dispersions of non-polar fluid(s) in a continuous phase of polar fluid(s) or of polar a continuous phase of non-polar fluid(s) without using synthetic emulsifiers and/or other chemical surfactants.
METHOD OF ENCAPSULATING ACTIVE INGREDIENTS IN LIPOSOMES
A method for encapsulating active ingredients in liposomes having an active ingredient solution encapsulated with a bilayer composed of two monomolecular layers of amphiphilic compounds comprises: (a) providing the active ingredient solution; (b) providing an emulsion by emulsifying the active ingredient solution in a first liquid in the presence of the amphiphilic compound; (c) providing a liquid phase; (d) contacting the emulsion with the liquid phase to form a phase boundary; and (e) centrifuging the emulsion and the liquid phase that are in contact with one another via the phase boundary, wherein, on passage of the phase boundary, the amphiphilic compound enriched there is added onto the monomolecular inner layer to form a monomolecular outer layer, in order to create the bilayer.
The first liquid of the emulsion is chosen such that the solubility of the amphiphilic compound in the first liquid is not more than 1×10.sup.−4 mol/l.
